Hmmm,I was alot kinder to the Bears and Vikings then everyone else it seems.
The NFC South is really hard to predict but I'm predicting that both Wildcard teams come from the south. There's just too many good teams.

Leaving voting open for the NFC South until the minute Raw ends tonight.

And with that, Raw is over and here are your predictions for the NFC South:
New Orleans Saints (12-4) Atlanta Falcons (11-5) Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9-7) Carolina Panthers (4-12)
Can't exactly say we saved the best for last, but it may be the most competitive division .. in its own way. Let's head out to the NFC West:
Cardinals, Rams, Seahawks, and 49ers. PM me your predictions. Once this division is decided, we'll move on to playoff voting.

I don't understand why people think the Saints will be better than the Falcons this year. There's too much uncertainty in the backfield in New Orleans, but so many weapons in Atlanta - I just don't see it.
It's really a shame that one of these NFC West teams is going to make the playoffs.

Forgot the NFC South:

NFC West Seahawks (9-7) Cardinals (8-8) Rams (7-9) 49ers (6-10)

No way the Seahawks repeat or even have a winning record in my opinion.

Fun with numbers time! For every win a team has, another team has a loss. Every team plays 16 games. So leaguewide, the W/L record for all teams every year is 256-256. Now... out of the previous 7 divisions averages we've listed... their record is 247-201. So that means to be on target with our predicions, that the NFC West must go 9-55 AS A WHOLE. Do we expect the NFC West to be THAT bad? Were we all just being nice to the other divisions? <aybe optemistic? Or afraid to offend? Do we even know what we are talking about?

Scratch that 1 PM. I got another list which now lines this division up with the usual voting numbers. Here are our NFC West Predictions:
St. Louis Rams (7-9) Arizona Cardinals (6-10) Seattle Seahawks (5-11) San Francisco 49ers (4-12)
I'll get the playoff voting set up and post it here shortly.

So the cummulative NFL win/loss record will be 269-243. I guess both teams will win some games

Alright, after going through a series of tie breakers including head to head match ups (giving the edge to the home teams when two teams actually play) going all the way down to strength of schedule, we have the final NFC Standings, broken down in to playoff seeds:
#1 - Green Bay Packers (12-4) #2 - New Orleans Saints (12-4) #3 - Philadelphia Eagles (12-4) #4 - St. Louis Rams (7-9) #5 - Atlanta Falcons (11-5) #6 - Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9-7)
coupled with the AFC:
#1 - Indianapolis Colts (13-3) #2 - Pittsburgh Steelers (13-3) #3 - New England Patriots (12-4) #4 - San Diego Chargers (11-5) #5 - Baltimore Ravens (13-3) #6 - Houston Texans (11-5)
and we have our final 12 standing.
Now, with that established here is what's going to happen. I'm going to post the playoff match ups for Wildcard Weekend. What you'll do is PM me your choices for the winners of each of those games. Obviously whichever teams get the most votes will advance to the semi-finals. In the event of a tie ... well, we'll figure it out if we get there. I'll leave voting open for each round for two days. By the time we're done we'll be right at the beginning of the regular season and have the official forum predictions.
So up first, here are the four match ups you'll choose the winners for:
#6 Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ #3 Philadelphia Eagles #5 Atlanta Falcons @ #4 St. Louis Rams
#6 Houston Texans @ #3 New England Patriots #5 Baltimore Ravens @ #4 San Diego Chargers
You have until sometime Saturday TBD. Go!

Interesting that the Rams got in this at 7-9. I don't think a team with a losing record will get in this year. I see the winner of the NFC West being either 8-8 or at best 9-7 and I think it'll be either Arizona or the 49ers.
