Something occurred to me last night: in "Swarm of the Century", wouldn't it have been easier and faster for Pinkie Pie to recruit other musicians to play alongside her instead of playing all of those instruments by herself? They were all away at some conference...on the moon. Oh, okay. Never mind then.

Well, you know with her not even thinking to explain it to the other ponies, her not asking any other music ponies makes sense that way too.

Or how about when Pinkie Pie identified it as a Parasprite and was appalled by it, the others could not have simply...asked why she would react like that?
Probably one of the reasons why "Swarm of the Century" is not in my Top 5 episodes.

They were too preoccupied with the parasprites being SOOOO CUUUUUUTE Ah ok, that makes sense. BTW, a little bit off-thread: You know what would make a really good reaction video to little inconsistencies like this? The end of the Spongebob episode "I had An Accident" (with the ape and horse and stuff).

Or the bigger question is why didn't the others ask her how she knew all about them and what they were capable of in the first place? Say how did she know all about them? My guess is she encountered them once on the rock farm, or during her short lived stint as an intergalactic bounty hunter trying to stop evil space pirates for using them as a biological weapons in a bid for universal conquest.

At this point, it's best just to accept that Pinkie knows everything.

(Disclaimer: I love Japan and felt devastated by the disaster that struck it in March. This joke is not meant to make fun of the plight that the victims of the disaster contend with every day. It is dark, but it is just too good not to be posted. I am sorry if I offend anyone with this) Rainbow Dash, don't listen to TEPCO's lies!

Is it wrong that episode actually made me cry? Which one, "The Bird in the Hoof" or "Bye Bye Butterfree"?

Ah, ok.
No, of course, it is not wrong that you cried. It was a sad moment so it was only natural that tears develop.

BTW, is Photo Finish like the Karl Lagerfeld pony from "Suited For Success" also based on a real life photographer?
