You know you are somewhat obsessed with this show when.... When I went out shopping today I noticed an ad outside my apartment for Absolut apple flavored vodka with the tagline "How about them apples?" guess what the first thing I thought of when I saw that was? Twilight? She does drink after all...  Seriously though, for my Acting class, we had to do two person scenes, and one of the students was a cowgirl. I always kept thinking that she would say "sugarcube". Also, I finally worked up the courage today to tell my mom about my interest in the show. She just face-palmed and said that I'm always weird. I love my mom. ;D |

Imo the first two episodes are horrible But since Rarity and Fluttershy were such amazing characters for me, I decided to give it a try and I was not wrong Btw, now I had the doubt, since it seems than the opinion from the fandom is considered, how much ''fan characters'' like lyra, bon-bon or derpy will appear on the series as recurrent characters I think that maybe they should get more screentime, but I dont want to see more main characters, since it will overkill the series IMO In my quest to assimilate others into the herd, I'm worried that I might have this problem if I ask them to watch the very first episode; that they'll have the same reaction as Lorenzo and will say "I gave it a shot, it's not my thing, sorry." And that, unlike him, they'll miss out. So I'm asking for recommendations on which episode YOU would use to introduce friends to this show. I'm thinking either "Sonic Rainboom" or "Dragonshy", although I'm leaning towards "Sonic Rainboom" because it has that hilarious opening sequence followed by Dash's incredible flying. What are your suggestions? |

Throw my hat into the first episodes dislike. But since they mostly hold no bearing to the rest of the series (yet), I don't have that major a problem.
