I believe Eddie Guerrero did from February 2005 til September 2005. Hell he lost like 8 matches to Rey Mysterio alone. And your sig is scary as hell...

What's Sheamus' post-KotR streak up to? Not pretty. That's why I snickered when he started talking trash to Morrison on Monday. Sheamus is currently like 2-5 in his encounters with Morrison. I beleive he's like 0-5 or 0-6 since KotR. 0-3 since 2011.

Kane. It's not possible to give him a lame duck angle, I think creative has been trying for years. I'd love to see that

I have to agree with Santino. He could lose 40 in a row and get more popular than ever.

The thing is, the losses mean nothing if the announcers never bring them up. If the announcers wouldn't have said a thing about MVP losing 20 times in a row, the common fan wouldn't have noticed. MVP was built up enough that he could have taken losses without it being a huge ordeal, but they made it into one for storyline purposes.

It's a matter of how you sell it.
For example, despite Bryan's losing streak on NXT, he was still booked and talked up as a competitive threat. It was just that he was either injured, being underminded by Miz, or being put up against main eventers like Jericho and Batista (both of whom treated him as a legitimate threat, despite their wins).

Maybe if he only lost a few times that would work. But after losing 20 times in a row it would look bad. Maybe if the announcers didn't say anything you wouldn't be able to count the losses but you would still realize that he's been losing for a few months. Actually, making it into a storyline probably helped a bit. He would have looked like a complete jobber if no one mentioned it. At least this way he was able to develop a bit of sympathy.
