Why does Jeff appear to be the normal one in that video?

How can you sympathize with someone who was trying to lose his job in this current climate? He posted a video of Rey Rey without his mask to get fired, while I'm not a fan of Rey, that was a dickish move. Rey without his mask would be effectively worthless to the E in terms of sales. I know that he wrestled with WCW without a mask but that was a decade ago and the fans buying the masks don't know that as they probably weren't born around that era.
That being said that doesn't mean I didn't sympathize with Matt when Lita cheated on him and he lost his job then but 5 years on he still has that chip on his shoulder. Move on Matt for your own sake.

I don't hate Matt Hardy, but I can see why people would as he's acting like a complete tool as of late. He's the anti Christian, see, Christian is in the same position as Hardy found himself for most of his career, never going to get pushed to the main event no matter how many good matches he put on and, while Christian has handled himself with class, Hardy moaned, made horrible videos and tried to get himself fired, acting like a small child having a temper tantrum.
He burned through all the sympathy the IWC had for him and completely dispelled the image people had of him as the Hardy with the level head and a good mind for the business. Now I blame the WWE road schedule for wrecking Hardy's body toward the end of his career, he should have been given time off to get his head straight and to recuperate properly from his abdominal injury, but there is still no excuse for his behaviour after his release.

I don't think anyone hates Matt Hardy.
He's never done anything to us personally. Just failed to evolve in an industry that is ever changing. Especially evident considering how The Miz worked tirelessly to become a better wrestler and talker, and yet Matt - seemingly - hasn't put in the effort on the talking side to become a top-flight wrestler.

I like Matt. Apparently he got a haircut, which is a good idea going forward if he wants to change up his character. As far as the videos go, it is kinda strange he wanted to be released from WWE, but maybe he wasn't happy there. People are thinking, oh he's in WWE, he must stay there period no matter what his feelings are.
Anyway, a lot of the videos I feel were worked, like, he was doing the whole Matthew thing, and I was thinking a lot of the videos were a work, and I still have a feeling that he's trying to create a character and is going in a Brian Pillman type direction. Because he already has a small bit of steam behind him as a heel.

Matt's the kind of guy that's easily bothered by the slightest little thing, and since the internet is kind of like school all over again, that makes people want to "bully" him (for lack of a better term) and watch him get upset over it. And eventually, once they get tired of pulling his strings, they want to cut them loose and be rid of them. Matt is at the point where there are some "relatively new to the party" people who still think it's funny to see him act like an idiot, but most just want to be rid of him and never see him again.

Acts like the world is against him, seems to be a nice guy to your face but would stick a knife in you the moment you turn your back, complains that Lita slept around when he himself is a womanizer, attention whore.

Here's the thing, though, IF(and I think it's a HUGE if) he's trying to create a Brian Pillman type character, he really, really sucks at it. Instead of coming off as intriguing and unpredictable like Pillman did, he's just coming off as douchey and whiny.

I actually think Matt is a good wrestler and I like his in-ring work. I understand promoting yourself but he's just coming off really bad. The constant moaning and apparent ability to never get over Lita is also mind numbing. Oh and he has really bad hair.
Also, in that one video where he calls CM Punk "dramatic". El. Oh. El.

...If the bit about Rey is true I'm surprised more people don't hate Matt Hardy. That's an incredibly douchey thing to do to a fellow performer.

I couldn't stand him, ever since I started watching. I always just found something icky about him, and on top of that, his character came across as a horrible blend of boring/annoying to me.
Then he ate some of Drew McIntyre's hair, and that sealed the hate-deal forever and ever, amen.
And that was BEFORE recently. I just... absolutely can't stand him now. The whole, "lolol I HAVE DISSOCIATIVE IDENTITY DISORDER GUYZ" thing just enrages me.

I don't hate him. I was a big fan.
I hate that he's gone bat-*hit crazy and lost himself in the internet, and surrounds himself with people that aren't good influences and say "yes" to everything he wants to do with no regard to his reputation or safety. I have that fear he's gonna be one of those wrestlers that's gonna die young.
It's so sad how someone with so much talent went so downhill. He had some bad breaks, but that's life, and you have to deal with that. I hope for his sake he still has some money left (although probably not), so he doesn't have to wrestle 'til he's dead.

I remember booing Jeff, having a very nasty sign for him (HEY JEFF, WHERE'S YOUR DOG?), and cheering Matt, in a Tag Team Match in which they were the Hardy Boyz
Today, I would boo the two of them.
Ah, and I forgot about that: not only he's got an horrible haircut, but he is heavily roided

I didn't hate Matt Hardy until he turned into an attention whore who did everything he could to get out of his WWE contract.

I don't HATE him, I'm just annoyed by his oversensitivity and disappointed in how he doesn't seem to give a crap anymore.

Somebody intriguing and unpredictable, or somebody whiny and douchey? Again, maybe it's the case that he's just a f***tard, but it would be a good gimmick. I do remember an interview where he said the Matthew thing was a work, because people he knew like Lita were talking about how strange he was acting, I'd have to look further into that. But, if it is a work, I think it's a great idea, especially if you're bound for television. Personally, I would have used it in WWE, but he didn't want to stick around there.
