Is really beaner a racist slur?
I don't know, I just took it as a really stupid way to call a mexican based on stereotypes of their culture instead of their race
This is something that I hate about north america, lots of times I got the feeling that there even though is the most diverse country in the world, there are still lots of problems confusing nationality with race, hell, lots of times I felt that some northamericans that think everybody from central and south america are mexicans
Hell, I'm sure that there must exist a despective term to refer to someone from Canada or England, why there isn't racism?

NXT: "Lol he's a tranny" *facepalm* WWE seems to be not just aimed at 7 year olds, but written by them too. Yes because most 7 year old kids go around calling people trannys. I have no problem with people being offended or whatever by what is said. But lets not act like it's immature to make jokes no matter how off color it is/complex or simple. Jokes are jokes. You may not find it funny though, that's your prerogative. Calling a guy a tranny and laughing at him isn't a joke, it's utterly puerile and offensive. Tranny is also considered to be an offensive word by some, particularly when used out of context - witness the controversy over Christian Siriano's use of the term for example. One would expect that adults in broadcasting would be mature enough, even if not influenced by broadcasting standards and common sense, not to use such words both incorrectly and in a pejorative sense. But no, instead they go for the idea that a different sexual orientation is something to be laughed at. Having had to deal with kids starting fights over being called gay "as a joke", yes that is the sort of thing you can hear kids saying unfortunately. Maybe 10-12 rather than 7, but I worked under the assumption that such attitudes have, as with so many behavioural issues nowadays, appeared at an increasingly young age. So do you honestly believe that WWE, a PG product with a large fanbase of children, should be implying that those of a different sexual orientation, religion or race are fodder for humour? Should we be expecting a blackface gimmick? And if we take offence at such, is that just because we don't get the joke?
