Still, Bateman has a future as a comedic midcarder. Maybe he could team with Percy? That would surely cause an orgasm for most people on here. No way, why ruin Bateman's perfect timing and delivery with Percy's over the top trying too hard style?

But can he wrestle?

Wow, there was soo much win in that segment.
"What was that?" "I thought you were gonna catch me."
"You might not know this, but in highschool they called me Dr. Love" "... No they didn't" "You're right... I was home schooled."
"That sounds like a terrible idea..." "I'm buyin'"
"Not only are we about Submission Wrestling, we are also about Chicks... and America!" *Daniel Bryan is dumbfounded at Bateman having and American Flag at the ready*
This team is so much win. They play off eachother perfectly.

Damn, Bryan's an even better straight man than Kozlov.

I had my doubts about Bateman I thought he wouldn't be that great but just watching some of his stuff from NXT on youtube I have to say he is starting to grow on me.
Then again I am a sucker for good comedy wrestlers.

His disappointed look at around 20 secs after DB didn't catch him was perfect. This guy has great mannerisms. Not too over the top.

Was that canned laughter after the 'home-schooled' line? I bloody well hope not...

Eyebrows aside, Bateman's OK, but he reminds me too much of the kind of person who likes to spout off internet memes over and over again until you want to punch him in the mouth.

No way, why ruin Bateman's perfect timing and delivery with Percy's over the top trying too hard style? Hey, I'm no fan of Percy's. I thought his promos on NXT sucked. But the fans seemed to respond to him, and he and Bateman could do well as a lower card team for a while. Until the WWE breaks them up, turns one heel, and does nothing with their subsequent careers.

I'd rather Bateman just teams with Curtis again.

Now that it was announced that the winning rookie gets a tag title shot with his pro as partner, I'm convinced this guy will win, and I haven't even seen an episode this season.

They would possibly be the most awesome pair to win simply due to the wacky antics/straight man chemistry they've got going on. DiBiase and Clay already hate each other so they wouldn't last as a team even by WWE standards. I could have got behind Masters/Saxton. Saxton/Ziggles doesn't seem as fun to me (Ziggler strikes me as a loner due to him being an ass to everybody around him, heel or face). Truth/Curtis seem to be growing a little... but their promos are becoming like a London/Kendrick shoot interview where you just have no idea what the hell they are talking about. O'Conner is awesome. Del Rio is awesome. As a tag team though, they have absolutly nothing in common. it would be one of the most random tag teams in a long time.

Maybe their gimmick could be that O'Conner doesn't want to wrestle and that Alberto must seduce him with Cheese

Or, that Conor is ADR's cheese-obsessed "servant" of sorts, who happens to be partners with ADR, just because.

I'm definitely hoping that Bateman wins this.
Seriously...imagine how funny a Bryan/Bateman vs. Santino/Koslov feud would be. We'd have great promos and in the matches: we'd have Airplane Spins, the Cobra, etc. The only problem would be that the crowd would not know who to cheer for. But I still think it'd be the funniest tag team feud in years.
