This ties into a question I've always wanted to ask... If everyone knows the result of the match going in, are title winning celebrations entirely fake? No matter how hard you work, I can't see you having a genuine level of emotion to something you knew about days ago. When wrestlers say 'Winning my first World Title was the highlight of my career', do they really mean 'When I was told I was booked to win my first World Title?'. Or any post-match emotion for that matter. When Roxxi was fired from TNA when she arrived her match, people were saying that her crying afterwards was genuine. How could it be? Well in my case I knew 6 months in advance that id be winning my first belt after the 1/2 year long feud, and let me tell you when I won I cried like a baby, and it was legit. I didnt plan on it or anything but litterally the second the 3 count happened I broke down.

I've always thought someone comes to their lockeroom and tells them whether they're gonna lose or win the match

Flair & Foley both cried after their "retirement matches" even though both would later wrestle again. At the time, it did seem like the end of their careers for them. It's a sport that they love and have devoted their lives to.....just because you know the outcome going in doesn't make it any less real when it actually happens. Roxxi knew she was on her way out after the match but she had been with TNA for a while and was sad to be forced out that way. Exactly, it's like Christmas. Just because you know what you're getting doesn't make it any less of a thrill or any less special when you actually get it.
