From PWInsider: The Miami Herald featured an interview with former WWE Diva Taryn "Tiffany" Terrell, who noted that the current storyline between her real life husband Drew McIntyre and Kelly Kelly was originally one that she and Drew pitched for themselves on the Smackdown brand. She didn't sound happy that WWE was now doing it, commenting, "Then, since I got released, they decided to use Kelly. I'm not really sure if that was meant as a way of, `Yeah. You're gone. Let us torture you a little bit' or not. It is what it is. I will never know. It sucks because I know that was the role originally pitched for me and Drew, which would have been amazing because we are actually a couple. I think it's a little bit ridiculous because everyone who watches WWE knows that we are married. So it's a little strange. I personally don't understand it, but at the same time I sort of get myself into a little bit of controversy talking about it. I get all these tweets saying how I feel about it and about how it's not acting. Wrestling is real. The actual wrestling is real. Everybody beats the crap out of each other. That's all real. What goes on backstage and is written by the writers is all acting. It's acting. So it doesn't hurt my feelings." To read the complete article, click here.========== Usually I'd argue that WWE vastly underestimates the size of the smart audience but, I am thinking Tiff. is thinking we're a bit larger than we are.

Poor Drew. I'll miss him.

I think Drew isn't going to get the heat for this too much - provided he still goes along with this storyline and doesn't start resisting or saying no to a possible kissing moment or whatever. But, the way things are going, Tiffany clearly does not want back in to WWE. She's burning the bridge with every interview it seems.

Anybody else hear that? It was the sound of Drew being buried because his wife won't shut her mouth.

whats the storyline with drew and kelly? Drew explains to Kelly that outside of the ring he's actually a nice guy, but when he's in the ring, he gets intense, and not to think of him as that kind of person. More or less, that's what I've got from it, I don't watch Smackdown much anymore.

Haha, the vast majority of people who watch WWE would probably need to be explained who this "Tiffany" person even was.
Then they'd go "SKIRT Tiffany?!"

Is still real to her dammit?

I don't get it. Either Tiffany's thinking on a plane of meta-psychology miles beyond that of the rest of us, or she's simply out of her mind. I'm guessing the first one.

Did she get the line "creative had nothing for her", which I would be a bit annoyed with myself had I been lied to. I don't think everyone knows their married, however if it was the case everyone knew they were married, why would we need the angle with Drew wanting to pick up Tiffany in the first place, as we already know they're married, so it's a waste of time and money.
I respect her for wanting to continue wrestling, but she's said some dumb things, she doesn't help destroy the dumb blond stereotype anyway.

I can't really feel sorry for her whatsoever; Tiffany has nobody to blame but herself for being cut. She should've known it was a bad idea to attend that Playboy party, let alone letting them capture photographic proof of such.
Honestly that's about as bad as the time Highlander A attended a TNA Impact taping despite being specifically told not to do so.
Drew's just lucky that he was handpicked by Triple H or he'd probably be in the same boat she's in right now.

Well I believe one of them lead to the other so they probably could have avoided both situations had they decided not to go to said party.

You know, laying aside all the other crap, the main thing I get from this article is that the only thing remotely resembling an angle on Smackdown that doesn't involve any main eventers wasn't actually thought up by any of the "writers", it was proposed by the talent themselves.
I had thought it was interesting that Drew was getting to do something other than festering away into apathy by wrestling the same guys over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again like every other midcarder on the blue brand. I'm relieved to hear that this development isn't actually a sign that WWE Creative has suddenly taken a turn, however minor, towards actually being creative. That would be too shocking to wrap my head around.

Shut up, woman, you are KILLING your husband's career with every stupid interview you do! And as a fan of D-Mac that couldn't pick you out of a line-up, I disapprove. Seriously, who the f*** was this chick again?
