If this match isn't on the HiaC DVD, is the Kennel in a Cell match on it? I remember being intrigued by the idea of the match, but yea... Although, I still do think that a cage in a cell could be a cool thing. Just with, you know, better wrestlers, and no dogs... That match is on Foley's "Hard Knocks and Cheap Pops" DVD. I have that match on tape, but I want to watch that match just for the alternate commentary. I heard that the commentary makes the match better.

I look at it as Undertaker sacrificing Bossman to Wrestlemania.

I never got offended by the hanging or anything like that, and actually thought it was a pretty cool spot. If Bossman had just never appeared again it would've made more sense. Still, the match was just crap, and how on Earth do you have a bad HIAC match? Especially with that much talent in the ring?

1999 wasn't really a good year for Bossman, booking-wise.

What's the story with this? This was actually an idea? I don't know. That was the first time I had seen it suggested, but it just kind of feels right you know? Plus when was the last time a wrestler rode to the ring on a horse? This the closest was Taker coming out in a chariot.

I cant tell you how many times I watched Robin Hood prince of thieves as a kid. So no the hanging didnt bother me. So I'm a secret sicko too I guess.

Still, the match was just crap, and how on Earth do you have a bad HIAC match? Especially with that much talent in the ring? It all started with having a Hell in a Cell match with two heels. It was downhill from there. Kind of sad really, because I always yearned for the return of "Hard Time" Boss Man and they teased us with it for like a week before doing the swerve and having him turn heel again. Kind of sucks because I'm a huge fan of both guys, but the match just had no heat and no logical reason to be on the show at all.

I believe the WWE wants us to forget that match as much as a certain someone. And deservingly so. This was a garbage match that had a really stupid ending. "Crucifixions" bother me, but showcasing a lynching, even if it was set up to avoid injury to Traylor, was just horrid. Really sucks that this is the only Hell in a Cell match to be at WrestleMania. He was not lynched, he was hung. Okay, my bad. But the fact that they hung him was still bad enough.

It still baffles me that Ken Shamrock didnt face Undertaker instead in HIAC. Fighting for the corporation.. comfortable in a cage... just made perfect sense to me.
