It’s probably to early to really tell where this angle will go, but I thought the backstage conversation between Punk and Sheamus was very interesting. Especially that Punk told Sheamus specifically to “keep a special eye on his surprise tonight.”
I think it would be great for Sheamus to team up with Punk/Nexus in this feud against Cena. Not “join” them as a member or anything, but at least involve him in the storyline. It’s better than shoving him in random matches against Orton for the 15th time.
Besides Triple H (when he eventually returns) where does Sheamus go from here?

I don't think anything will come of it, unless the locker room splits between Pro-Cena and Anti-Cena cliques, which I would love.

I don't see just Sheamus being inserted into this angle, but I could easily see it grow into a show-wide kind of thing where he would obviously be involved. Remember, the comparisons between Cena and Nexus go way back to pre-Summerslam where Jericho said they were both killing the WWE, the only difference being Cena had the support of the fans. I know the internet doesn't generally doesn't think much of WWE Creative, but this ties in perfectly with where the angle is ultimately heading now and could go into CM Punk dividing the locker room.
