The downside is that Rainbow will likely job to the hoofpoke of doom Yeah, and I heard Rarity's winning the title, that'll put butts in seats...  Ugh! Rainbow Dash. Rarity. It's always the same old names in the main event. Why don't they push some of the midcard guys like Lyra, or Derpy? |

Doesn't this type of shipping stuff happen in all fandoms? If there's some sort of mutual respect or understanding within a rivalry, it is possible to imagine a friendship blossoming. Shippers just move the dial up from friendship to romance. See: Sasuke/Naruto. To be fair, the fact that they kissed in canon probably did plenty of work on its own. |

I just find the idea of shipping to be absurd.
At least when people apply it to a show about cartoon ponies where even the slightest hint of sexual relations is unlikely to ever be mentioned.

Bobeddy! I don't know if you saw this in the prior thread, but I commissioned you to make a Diamond Dallas Pony. Either you or Johnny Nitro. It doesn't matter who. I need the master of the Diamond Cutter.......in pony form. Cool, might not be till the weekend though. It's coming up on 1am here and then tomorrow I've been enlisted to finish off my cousins treehouse, which will probably take all day as me and tools do not mix well. Meh, sleep is over-rated.  |
