Hey PKS, just a suggestion: When you approve a song, you can send a message to the contestant saying: APPROVED. Just to let them know their song is good to go. Or send Denied if it can't be accepted along with a reason, whether it is due to same artists used same round, or songs used in the last game, etc. Okay. Thanks for the heads up, Sudden Rush. I'll start using that next round. Also, we're a few minutes short of midnight as of now, and we're still waiting on one contestant to get their choice in. I'll be sending out the lists at midnight, and if said contestant doesn't get their song in before all 3 judges have tallied their scores, they will earn no points going in to Round 2.

Now, to discuss the point system.
It will work something like this:
The judges will be scoring the songs on this round from #1-#15 in order of preference. #1 will earn the contestant 15 points, while #15 will earn the contestant 1 point. I will tally the 3 judges scores up and then proceed with Round 2. The combination of Round 1 and Round 2 scores will determine who moves on and who winds up fighting for survival in the sing-off.
In the event that someone doesn't turn in a song during a round, they will automatically earn 0 points. If they no-show the next round, they will be automatically eliminated with no sing-off required for that round.
I hope those rules are clear; if not, please let me know so that I can attempt to clarify them.

Do we find out the judges scores for this round before we do round 2? Yes, you will. Round 1 scores will be posted once I can get all the judges' scores, put them in an Excel spreadsheet, and do some fancy window capturing goodness to show them on here. Hopefully, Round 1 will give you all an idea on how well you pick your songs so that Round 2 can be better.

I think you still might be able to submit one if you hurry. Not 100% sure on that though.

Also, Ronin FIST/Michael Hayden, you can still get your song in. I've only gotten back 1 of the 3 judges scores so far.

I gotta apologize for not getting in a song this round. Things got hectic on my part. Send it in dude. Do it now. We'll still rank it. It sucks to get 0 points in Round 1.

Alright. One last bone to Michael Hayden for Round 1. Michael, you have until midnight tomorrow, October 6th, to get in a song for Round 1. If you fail to do so, I will unfortunately have to mark you down for 0 points.
UPDATE: Crisis averted. All 15 songs are now and in the hands of the judges.

I sent Hayden a PM while he was on last night in case he didn't check out the thread but he didn't read it.

Alright. All songs are judged, now I get to write up for the results. In the meantime, though, let's get the 2nd round rolling. Here is your category: ANARCHY IN THE UK! This round, each participant must turn in a song from a British band. Remember: all artists used in this competition and all songs from this and the last competition are not to be used. Anything else is fair game. Get crackin', guys!

Stats, are single artists from Britain fair game as well? And I assume qualifications for Britain include artists from Northern Ireland, Wales, and Scotland as well as England?
