The same Riolu or hatched? The same Riolu, If I don't like it, I will have to hatch another one. You did miss out on some very good moves that Lucario learns (Swords Dance, Calm Mind, Heal Pulse, Aura Sphere, and the aforementioned Reversal) because that Riolu was at such a high level before evolving. But if this Lucario works for you, by all means keep it.

Can I use a Heart scale to relearn the old moves? Oh, Lucario, ok.

Just a question to those using the GTS to complete their Pokedex...amongst the ocean of idiots wanting level 100 legendaries for their LV. 1 crap Pokemon...what good deals have you run across? I picked up a Zekrom the other day in exchange for my Vanilluxe. An another note, can anyone help a brother out by helping me with some of my trade evolutions? My only other options are GTS (which in that case, I'd be better off banging my head against the wall for an hour) or to track down my ex-gf...which...yeah. I managed to get a Reshiram for a Chikorita I also got a Porgyon that was holding an upgrade. And somebody traded me a shiny Patrat for a non-shiny pokemon, that was pretty damn awesome. I <3 my shiny Patrat. So much cuter than regular Patrats. If you haven't gotten help with trades yet, I can help you after my finals on Thursday.

A question: what's the point of Heal Pulse? you are healing your oppnent, in what kind of situation this move is useful?

God, I'm lazy. I don't want to put in the effort to EV train so I'm just beating the Elite 4 a bunch of times and buying a shitload of Proteins/Irons/Etc

Judging by his level I don't think you have enough EV points to give anymore, but even if you did, these stats are perfectly fine. What's his moveset? Looks like he JUST learned Aura Sphere, which you should keep. Although that depends, do you want him to be more of a Physical attacker or Special attacker? Basically, what's your "plan" for him?

Well, I want it to be Specia Attacker, but with enough Physical Attack to keep an equilibrium, its actual moveset is: Aura Sphere Force Palm Close Combat Counter Not good to have all of his attacks the same type, in this case, Fighting. I'd keep Aura Sphere, swap Close Combat for Calm Mind. Close Combat is not worth decreasing both of his defenses, while Calm Mind increases his Sp. Atk and Sp. Def, giving him an extra kick of power and support. Force Palm is a good Physical move to put his great Attack stat to use; 90 power (due to STAB), 100% accuracy, chance of paralyzing. But IF you're looking for something different, I'd swap out Force Palm for ExtremeSpeed, which he'll learn at level 65. Good power (80), 100% accuracy, and it's priority has been increased to +2, which means 9.5/10 he'll always hit that move first. That choice is up you. I'd get rid of Counter, since it makes you go last, and it depends if the incoming attack is a Physical attack, which is not all the time. The decreased priority doesn't compliment his great Speed, always keep Lucario on the fast side. I'd get rid of it for a move that has type advantage over one of his weaknesses, it's always good to have type coverage. I'd give him Psychic for his own Fighting weakness if you want keep him as a Special Attacker. If you want him to be a "Dragon Slayer" for those frustrating Dragon Pokemon, then Dragon Pulse (which he learns at level 60) is a must. Flash Cannon is also a great move that takes advantage of Lucario's Steel type (120 in power), and has a chance of lowering their Sp. Def, which goes great with your Sp. Atk powered Lucario. So his moveset should look something like: Aura Sphere Force Palm/ExtremeSpeed Calm Mind Psychic/Dragon Pulse/Flash Cannon

I was traded a shiny baby Riolu last year in HeartGold.
Modest nature, so I turned it into a killer special sweeper.
- Aura Sphere - Psychic - Dragon Pulse - Dark Pulse
Most people expect physical Lucarios, so mine usually catches people off guard.
