My advice: Breed a new one with Adamant nature & Iron Fist. If you have the patience, that is. If you want to EV train it, fill it with Protein and max out Attack EVs. I'd get the Power Bracer from the Battle Subway, give that to it, and head to Route 1 to fight Patrats & Lillipups. If you want Defense upped too, fight Boldores, as they give you 1 ATK EV & 1 DEF EV. This is just basic EV stuff. If you want to try to get good IVs, then prepare to have a chunk of your life be removed. It's extremely time-consuming.

You can use any Pokemon. It's just a matter of if you desire optimal Pokemon.

You could, but its ability is one of the worst in-game. I would gladly help you, but all I have in the Storage System is a Golett with Klutz. BTW, if you need any Pokemon, please let me know.

Hydreigon is a part dark type with crazy high special attack.
It doesn't, my TM or by level up, learn a single special dark move.
THAT was well thought out! *seethe*

THAT was well thought out! *seethe* It is about as well thought out as in Generation I, Gastly, Haunter, and Gengar are the only Ghost-types in the entire game, but they aren't pure Ghost-types, they are Ghost/Poison, yet the ONLY Poison move they can learn in Gen I is Toxic via TM. This also makes them weak to Psychic Pokemon, you know, the type Ghosts have an advantage over?

Dragon Rage being the only dragon type move is my favorite.

Another thing that I hate. Foul Play is a dark type attack that deals damage based on the physical stat of the opponent. The problem of course is that the number of psychic and ghost types that have good physical attack can be counted on one hand.

I'll even evolve it to a Hydreigon for you. (I have a ton of spare time since I haz no job/looking for one) My advice: Breed a new one with Adamant nature & Iron Fist. Honestly you can use it in game. It doesn't really matter you'll probably just spam Earthquake and win most of your matches. I can help you out if you want. I think I have a Golurk, if not I'll breed it for you.

I just read on Bulbapedia that Japanese magazine was tobe announcing a new Pokemon game in May. Though no one knows if it'll be on 3DS or Wii. I'm surprised by this because This would Prob be like the 3rd straight year with a Pokemon game. It may be the third pair to Black/White though be I even read rumors of it being a Ruby and Sapphire Remake. I honestly hope its like a Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness type of game for the 3DS. Or something like the old Pokemon Staduims from the N64. Oh well. At least I have Black to hold me off until then

It learns Dark Pulse by breeding it onto it from Ekans/ Arbok/ Seviper. The point was by TM or level up, though. Which means that you can't give it to an already existing Hydreigon. Also, Dark Pulse is a Physical attack. There are no Special Dark-type moves it can learn, and considering that Hydreigon's best stat is Special Attack, it is a pain in the rear.

Actually its a special move. bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Dark_pulseI was waiting for him to fix that, thinking he got it mixed up, seeing as how he refers to it as a Special Attack in the following sentence. If not, then yeah, check again.
