So I decided to put my in-game team on Serebii to see if anybody there had tips on movesets. Thus far the first reply has ignored half of my instructions on which moves I need to keep around for moving around the map and for practical purposes. Sigh. I'll probably ask you guys here if I get bad answers there I think the problem is, a good chunk of Serebii people put battling over ease of movement around the game world. So if you ask for move advise, they'll pretty much tell you the best moves for battling other people. I honestly don't remember seeing anyone on Serebii ever tell someone to keep HMs in their party.... I made it pretty clear in my post that this is my team that I use for wandering around the Pokemon world so I NEED the HMs. The first poster also seemed to be a bit pissy that I'm not going to re-breed these Pokemon. I mean really here, I'm just looking for a team that's going to have enough good moves to take down the Elite 4 over and over, because it's the team that I'm going to use to raise the levels of my actual competitive Pokemon with. I said that in my post but I'm not sure that the super-serious battlers over at Serebii are going to be able to understand that I don't want a super-serious battling team here.

Wait, you're not going to chain-breed and then release anything that didn't get the right nature? SHAME ON YOU FOR NOT LIVING UP TO THEIR ELITIST EXPECTATIONS!

I have boxes full of Deinos, Eevees, Litwicks and Ruffletts because I don't like to release things.
But man I haven't touched this game in weeks; there's nothing to do anymore.

You'd probably have more luck posting your movelists here, for a more casual perspective.

I have boxes full of Deinos, Eevees, Litwicks and Ruffletts because I don't like to release things. Is that due to continuous breeding till you get the Nature that you want? Because if so, I always save the game AFTER I place the Pokemon in the Daycare but BEFORE I start riding around waiting for them to make the egg. It's tedious as f***, but it saves me some time and a ton of box space. BTW, hold on to one of each of the 4 Pokemon you listed (Deino, Eevee, Litwick, Rufflett), I'm gonna be needing them when I get the game (yes, I STILL haven't gotten it ).

So I've spent the last two hours going around Unova collecting all of the TMs I skipped during gameplay so that I can have them all at my leisure if I want to use them for my team. I still have several left. It's been kinda fun and I've caught a few Pokemon too.

Less a "Black/White" question and more a "my mind is blanking" question, but has there ever been a narwhal based pokemon? Because that would be awesome.

The gyms are some of the easiest gym leaders I've ever faced in the series, if not the easiest, so the gyms will go by fast and easy, then you grind to a halt after beating the Elite Four for the first time thanks to insane level job that not only the NPCs but the wild Pokemon have. You have to sit and grind for quite a while.

Anyone got a spare Shelmet out there so we can do the Shelmet-Karrablast Trade? I have a Karrablast that I want to evolve into an Escaliver.

The staircase climbing in the Elite 4 got old after sitting through it twice. Now I just want to scream.

Alright guys, since Serebii's posters were of little help I'm hoping y'all could offer some advice on movesets for my in-game team. This team is basically needing to be catered to the Elite 4 and I'm just using the Pokemon I got through the game with. I'm NOT going to rebreed them for egg moves/new natures/abilities (which sucks in Mienshao's case...) because I'm not going to go through the effort to raise them all up 60/70 levels again just to beat the Elite 4.
I can easily sweep through all the Elite 4 members but Marshall at this point.
Here they are:
Hydreigon (holding expert belt, has levitate) - Dragon Pulse - Dragon Rage - Flamethrower - Crunch
(For her, I'm happy with the moveset overall - I kept Dragon Rage because it's helpful when a rare Pokemon pops up when I don't have my Weavile with False Swipe in my party at the time. But now I'm ready to replace the move with something else. Considering Surf, but since Samurott has it I wonder if it's a bit too redundant)
Krookodile (holding BlackGlasses, has Intimidate) - Crunch - Rock Slide - Earthquake - Outrage
(Considering switching Outrage out for something else, but I'm otherwise happy with this)
And now the problem child...
Samurott (holding Shell Bell, has Torrent) - X-Scissor - Scald - Surf - Waterfall
(Yeah, that's bad, I know. I never bothered giving it a good moveset. I don't need Waterfall anymore I don't think, so the only one that needs to stay is Surf)
Mienshao (has Inner Focus) - Hi Jump Kick - U-Turn - Acrobatics - Drain Punch
(I'm happy with this moveset. Only one I'm unsure about is U-Turn, which doesn't do much since Mienfoo doesn't have Regenerate)
And the second problem child...
Eelektross (holding Magnet, has Levitate) - Wild Charge - Thunder Wave - Spark - Crunch
(I want to keep thunder wave, and I'm still not sure if I want Spark or Wild Charge. Wild Charge has recoil damage which sucks balls, but does a lot more damage than Spark...)
Braviary (holding sharp beak, has sheer force) - Toxic - Strength - Aerial Ace - Fly
(I need to keep Fly. Other than that anything can go, I don't need Strength anymore.)
So yeah, basically Samurott, Eelektross and Braviary are the biggest problems here. I'm looking for mostly damage dealing moves since I'm not doing anything but battling the Elite 4 with these guys.

Alright, here's my views on your movesets: Here they are: Hydreigon (holding expert belt, has levitate) - Dragon Pulse - Dragon Rage - Flamethrower - Crunch (For her, I'm happy with the moveset overall - I kept Dragon Rage because it's helpful when a rare Pokemon pops up when I don't have my Weavile with False Swipe in my party at the time. But now I'm ready to replace the move with something else. Considering Surf, but since Samurott has it I wonder if it's a bit too redundant) Good idea on thinking about getting rid of Dragon Rage. It's probably one of the more useless moves in trainer battles since it does so little in the late game. As for what to replace it with: you're missing coverage of those pesky fighting types, and Acrobatics would fill it out nicely. However, that would make you lose your Expert Belt in order to use it to its fullest extent. I would also possibly look into Toxic or something like that to screw around with your opponents. That's not a bad build, though if you want to switch out Outrage, try something along the lines of Aerial Ace so that you can cover Krookodile's weaknesses a bit (as in 3 of the 5). Good call on X-Scissor and Scald. Those two moves are very good. As for replacing the other two, try Ice Beam and Dig to cover those weaknesses. Yeah, the only thing missing is Regenerate. Otherwise, very solid moveset right there. Ewww.... only move that is good on there is Crunch. Spark is average and Wild Charge is the Electric Take Down. Thunder Wave is also kind of useless to me. If anything, get Thunderbolt, Grass Knot (to permanently get rid of Ground types that may be able to bring you down), and something like Dragon Claw. Get rid of Aerial Ace and Strength and pick up Shadow Claw and something like Giga Impact. BTW, your team is missing one type of Pokemon that could seriously help you against Marshal: the Psychic type. If you can, go find a Metang or Metagross in Giant Chasm; that will help you out tremendously.
