I picked up the Hulk Still Rules and Hulk Hogan Anthology DVDs for $14 total on eBay last week. I've never seen or owned Hulk Still Rules before and grabbed it because I heard the documentary on the first disc is pretty good. The Anthology I used to own the Anthology and sold it for a decent price about a year ago and pretty much kicked myself for it ever since so I was just waiting for the right deal to come along. Anyone else own these and still go back and watch either of them? I have them but I haven't watched them in a while. I remember getting the Hulk Still Rules dvd for cheap and being excited because I love a good bargain. Plus the documentary wasn't bad. At least, that I can recall.

Both the Hogan DVDs are good. Get the Unreleased set, and there's a good trifecta of material right there!

Haven't seen the price come down at all, if anything it keeps going up and they are few and far between. Actually, just noticed WWEShop has it on sale for $11.19. Awesome! I'm picking it up from them later today then! ;D

I mean I hate using WWEshop, but I will admit they usually have a decent amount of promo codes.

Well, it seems like I'm getting Judgment Day 2002 soon and it's a store and at a good price. I asked the store to transfer it to the location where I live and it costs $14.

^ That's a really good deal.
My own story was when WrestleMania 17 (the original dvd without edits) was going from $60 and above, even used on eBay. I ended up finding it used in a Suncoast for $8. I was pretty happy since I was 19 (and poor) lol

Finding WM 17 for cheap in a random store is always a great feeling. I've had my copy since its original release though, not that I'm complaining lol.

I first started collecting dvds around Survivor Series 2002, so any thing I have before that is used. I generally find good deals but the most I've paid for a single dvd so far was for the Royal Rumble 2001. I got off with paying $45 for an original.
*edit* upon scouting ebay, I got robbed. lol

It depends when you buy it. The prices on WWF DVDs fluctuate quite a bit. There are times when WM 17 will go for 40 bucks used, then later it will be 40. This only goes for online obviously.

I will never forget actually finding Wrestlemania X-Seven at a store two years ago. It was at $18.99, but it was worth every penny I spent on it. I look on Amazon and see the prices for it. All I can say is that I am glad that I got it when I did.

Backlash 01, and Judgment Day 01 are actually much rarer, they just don't have the demand of WM 17. Good reason for that obviously, but if you find them on the cheap snatch them up.
I found Backlash 01 at Coconuts a few months ago for 8.99. I already had it, but I couldnt pass it up lol.

Called FYE this am to see how much the KOTR dvd is......$24.99.
Even though I'd be buying it with store credit I just hate thinking about paying that much.
Any store coupons?

Anyone pick up the KOTR set yet?
I'll probably be getting some gift cards for Christmas but I can't decide between KOTR, the new Austin set or maybe the Hart/HBK set. Whatever I get, I'll get the Blu-Ray version, but does the KOTR set have any Blu-Ray exclusives? I saw it at Best Buy today but the case didn't say anything.

I sort of regret passing up Backlash 2001 five years ago when I found it at Dimple Records, but I'll get a good deal on it one day I think. I didn't pass up Judgment Day 2001 last year. I couldn't pass it up, even though it was $16.

Was at the local mall today finishing up holiday shopping and stopped into FYE for myself.
They still had the 25% off on new WWE dvds sale going so I went to the counter with the newest Mysterio set and the new KOTR set. Both were marked $29.99 new. Mysterio on sale for $22.49 and KOTR on sale for $24.99. The Mysterio dvd rang up for $29.99 and KOTR for $24.99....so I pointed out the sale and since it was the same employee from last time I said that you gave me the 25% off the sale price last time and should again this time since it doesn't say excludes sales. She messed with the computer and Mysterio's set would come down in price but KOTR dropped to $18.75.
Walked out buying only KOTR on store credit so I still have around $30ish left there. Glad to have gotten the set for a FAIR price but they seriously need to work on their pricing. I don't see how they can stay in business with their overpriced items and not price match anything. Even though I'm buying it on store credit I still refuse to pay $30 for an item I could get for $20 or less elsewhere out of pocket.
-Set has a solid listing imo....lots from '96 which was the first ppv I ever owned (bought from BB used vhs). Only things missing are Taker/HHH from '02 but its on the BD and Austin/McMahons ladder match from '99....really should have been on there.

Well, I finally got my copy of Judgment Day 2002. I got it at Dimple Records. One of the rarest finds ever and I saved over $80.

Yes, it's the US version. The one that was released through WWE Home Video.

A question about the KOTR dvd, the ads feature the pre-KOTR "kings" (race, haku, duggan, savage). Is there anything involving them?
