Looked like a mix of a few things actually. The Owen footage being one of them, the other being that WWE doesn't really release "complete collection" sets anymore. Oh, there's also the glaring sight of B_n__t in there as well.

For the record, the Ladder Match 2 set is worth it if only for Dancing Tank Abbott.

Really pissed with WWE using Eco-friendly cases now.
Got my Survivor Series 2011 in the mail yesterday, and as I was ripping the security sticker off the case (gently), the plastic of the case got scratched off and now it has a hole in the plastic.
So pissed...

I finally watched the new Stone Cold DVD last night, which I thought was incredible. I love how WWE doesn't protect kayfabe as much in their documentaries. That's such a huge difference between the Austin documentaries of 10 years ago. The stories were great. Austin is a great narrator. I loved all of the alternate camera angles they had of some of his classic moment that I don't ever recall seeing before. That was a nice touch.
I barely started watching the matches. I'm mostly looking forward to the alternative commentary that he provides during a few of them.
The only thing I didn't like was the segment about the Condemned... which felt more like an advert. Was it actually a good movie?

Got the Survivor Series Anthology Volume 1, Top 50 Superstars of All Time, and Greatest Superstars of the 21st Century (Blu Ray) for Christmas. Rather happy with it all.

The Best Of Smackdown DVD rare by chance? I was just curious cause I ended up picking it up at the local record store here for fairly cheap and not seen it anywhere before.

Was it actually a good movie? I feel exactly the same way about everything you said. One of their best docs yet for sure. Austin is just...he's a hell of a guy, really. I watched the Blu-ray exclusive features afterwards, where he talks about the origins of his t-shirt (and how he had to get Taker's approval for the skull), answered Twitter questions (hinting that he's up for a return match), his trip to the hairclub for men clinic("I got the god damn hell outta there" or something to that affect X-D ), and my favorite thing - the tour of Broken Skull Ranch. Really interesting life he leads. He's a guy who likes to tell it how it is and enjoy life, and I gotta respect that.

Earlier today, I started thinking about collecting UK PPV DVDs. I own a lot of PPV DVDs already, but are the UK ones like Insurrexion and Rebellion worth having? I remember at one point thinking of buying Capital Carnage and No Mercy, the UK one I mean.
That reminds me, when it comes to VHS, are some worth it? I already have almost all of the 1999 PPVs on tape when I recorded them back in the day, though I can't find a few. However, I remember reading how these VHS releases had exclusive footage on there. Are they worth having or not?

I've since watched those bonus clips since that last post I made - and yes, they are a great treat. I loved his critiques of who took the stunner better, and how he designed his t-shirt, etc. I too loved the Broken Skull Ranch tour a lot. It was like watching Cribs, but rednecks. I really wanna hang out on his ranch! Oh, and those ECW pormos are out of this world. I really wish they had included at least one ECW match of his though.

Are they worth having or not? I think Capitol Carnage is worth having just for the REAL most electrifying tag team of all time, never before, never again: Christian and Sable. Though I've not acquired it yet. I wouldn't bother buying a WWF home video tape of something I recorded off PPV and was of acceptable quality, especially because some of them are not easy to come across for under $15-$20. I have most of the 1999 ppvs on WWF VHSes and the added stuff is very brief, backstage snippets after matches of like less than a minute or so. It was pretty ooky on the Royal Rumble 2000 tape where they showed a closeup of HHH's leg injury.

Ok so who else has the Best PPV Matches of 2011 Blu Ray? FINALLY having Punk/Cena from MITB in full HD is glorious. So anyone getting anything good over the holidays? I wanted to get this with my remaining gift cards but went to Wal-Mart and Best Buy and neither place had it. They had a couple copies of the DVD but no Blu-Ray. So I got Always Sunny Season 6 on Blu-Ray instead. The only wrestling sets I got this holiday were the KOTR set and Ladder Match 2, both on Blu-Ray. Both are solid but I went through them way too quickly. I do want the Austin set and HBK/Bret but since I'd have to buy them with actual money instead of gift cards, I'm waiting for a sale or price drop.

Owen Hart footage is still verboten? I thought that the KOTR dvd had owen vs razor though, so how did they get away with that?

A collector friend of mine has acquired 3 full sets of sealed Coliseum Video tapes. It's the full thing, I've seen the tape boxes (Not opened them, they're sealed) and they're all there in sequential order, checked with a checklist too. It's the whole Coliseum Video library, mint.
He's asking for a 1,000$ CAN for one full set. Would you pay that much for it? BTW, I've got the money, I just don't know what those tapes are worth.
Also, I do have a large number of these tapes, but many of them are old and used.
