A collector friend of mine has acquired 3 full sets of sealed Coliseum Video tapes. It's the full thing, I've seen the tape boxes (Not opened them, they're sealed) and they're all there in sequential order, checked with a checklist too. It's the whole Coliseum Video library, mint. He's asking for a 1,000$ CAN for one full set. Would you pay that much for it? BTW, I've got the money, I just don't know what those tapes are worth. Also, I do have a large number of these tapes, but many of them are old and used. If you have the money to spend on it, then **** YES! Some of those tapes are so god damned rare, that 1000 bucks for the complete set is a steal. If its the full complete set, there should be 176 different tapes (177 counting the second tape with WM 4), It should start with Bloopers, Bleeps, & Bodyslams, and end with Badd Blood 97. Chronologically Survivor Series 97 is last, but numerically Badd Blood is last. If I had 1000 dollars (Canadian) to spend on that... I would in a heartbeat.

Do we know if they plan on making a Survivor Series box set in the future? Because those two volumes at that price is really good and I'm pondering getting them. The rest of the volumes were reportedly canned because they had footage of Owen Hart on them. So blame Martha for that. I guess I don't understand the big deal? The Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, and Summerslam sets had Owen Hart footage. The Hart and Soul Set had some Owen footage. The King of the Ring set (I love that blu ray, by the way) had Owen footage. I don't see why they couldn't finish the Survivor Series set. Honestly, I only need the '97, '98, '99 and '00 ones as I have the others on DVD (well, up to '06 so far). I just want to have all the Big 4 PPVs on DVD (or Blu ray where possible).

The big deal (and LOTS of locked threads about it) came down to this: Martha Hart wasn't paid royalties, so Martha went after WWE, and WWE is thisclose to putting Owen on the "unmentionable" list because of any legal ramifications. It's sad I know.

Well supposedly the UK version of the Summerslam 2011 Blu Ray plays on US players. I went ahead and bought it to test this theory out. lol

I see her point.... it's just disappointing. Every wrestling fan has the same sentiment, including Bret Hart himself. Well think about it, how stupid the WWE was over that. The one person they wouldnt want to screw with and not give royalties too was her, and that is what happened. You'd think with all the sensitive dealing that went on when making that set they would make sure she would get her money. I doubt it's Martha's fault, or WWE being lazy and saying well lets not use his footage rather than, "hey next time we put Owen on a dvd make sure his widow gets the royalities she deserves." I heard that the Survivor Series Sets didnt do that well, so they weren't going to rush out the next ones.Owen is heavily featured in 1997, but i don't think he even appears at 98, because he was doing his retirement angle. If they can release a KOTR set with an owen match, then they can release a SS 97-2001 set, with one owen match. I think it would more likely be due to the scratch wwf logo on 4 whole ppvs. I notice on some releases lately that the keep the 98-01 to a minimumn, most likely due to all the blurring involved.

How much should Shawn Michaels: Boyhood Dream being going for? I saw it today but refused to buy it due to very little matches and the fact that it was selling used for $14.99 which seems way too much for a DVD I know was once $9.99 in some places.

Being that Shawn Michaels is one of my all-time favorites, I actually thought of buying that once but then I read how it was more of a Coliseum Video release in DVD form and was not worth getting. I was actually better off buying "From The Vault: Shawn Michaels" instead and I did. I still need "My Journey" and "Heartbreak and Triumph."

Shut up and take my money. Finally. I always prefer documentary dvd's then 2 disc's of matches, it always seems like a better format and i love how indepth they are with the documentaries/autobiographies can be. So hopefully it will be that format, but to be honest im just happy that they have announced the documentary portion.

I picked up a couple of new sets over Christmas. Ended up getting the new Stone Cold Steve Austin on dvd and blu ray, and the King of the Ring dvd, wasn't able to find it on blu ray.
And I'll be going out to find the new Best PPV Matches of 2011, hopefully on blu ray, later on this morning.
Speaking of the PPV Matches 2011 blu ray, I noticed someone on Amazon left this commented: "I was just wondering if anyone has had a problem with disc 2 on the blu-ray version? I've purchased three versions so far and each one's disc 1 loaded and played fine, but disc 2 won't. " and wondered if anyone here has had a smiliar problem?

I don't know what's odder, the fact I called the title of the Edge set (though I suppose it was pretty obvious) or the fact it's coming out one day shy of the one year anniversary of his announcing his retirement.
