I've been thinking about selling my Mick Foley's Greatest Hits & Misses DVD for a while so that I can get the Hardcore Edition. Despite already having the matches that are on the third disc (Except for Ric Flair vs. Mick Foley), I want to watch those matches with the alternate commentary.

I put off getting it because i had watched the orginal about 50 times over and like you said already had the bonus matches. But then i picked it up cheap and the commentary is worth the price alone, it's really insightful.

I may already have Backlash 2004, Wrestlemania 22, and One Night Stand 2006, but I do want hear the alternate commentary for those matches. I do plan to buy Summerslam 2006 as well someday, but I'll still get the Hardcore Edition.

Since I had a feeling that I wouldn't get a chance like that again, I could not pass it up. I bought it, along with King of the Ring 2000 and Invasion.

I got around to watching Greatest Superstars of the 21st Century this week. I did not find this one nearly as interesting as other DVDs. Just because it was all done in kayfabe. It was cool that they didn't ignore guys like Angle, Lesnar, and Hardy. I couldn't think of anyone they left out, so that was good. The commentary was weird though. A heavy dose of Santino made this feel like some VH1 show.
The match list isn't bad. I haven't watched them all yet, but none of them have really stood out to me for any reason.
I'll watch the new Stone Cold set sometime this week. I'm kind of excited for it now.

Best Buy has the Orton dvd, HBK/Bret dvd, and the 21st Century Stars dvds on sale for $15 this week in their Sunday circular.
Was the JoMo dvd from Walmart for $5 in the dump bin? I've been wanting it but only seen it for $15 in stores.

I don't care as I'm not in any rush but just letting anyone else know. I haven't seen the Morrison dvd in the $5 bin in the Walmarts near me. I just looked on Amazon though and it's $7.48, if that helps.

Finished Xmas shopping for good today and got SummerSlam, No Mercy, and Armageddon 2006, along with TNA Lockdown 2006, 2007, and 2008. I've got a metric s***ton of PPVs in the Christmas pile, but they were generally all very affordable, usually in the $2-4 range.
SummerSlam 2006 turned out to be $9.99, though, because they put an $11.99 label on it that was for SummerSlam 2002 and they took two bucks off when I pointed out the flub. Considering my B&N order for SummerSlam 2002 was backordered and then refunded it hurt a little, hahaha.

Well I went out to do errands today and stopped in to Walmart. I can confirm that the JoMo dvd is in fact in the $5 bin. I found ONE copy out of a fresh dump of like 200 dvds....kinda odd it was so limited.
Also, went by Kmart and they had the KotR dvd on the shelf....tried to buy it....breaking shelf date...no deal. I asked the guy (he was real young) who had stocked the dvds and he said he did it this week. I told him "I know trying to buy this is breaking street date....I'm trying to help you and keep you from getting in trouble....go pull the other copies off the shelf and hold them back until Tuesday". He was surprised I knew that and thanked me several times for telling him. I told him I've seen that at least 2 other times in that store alone with the same result every time. If I had gone up to the front it likely would have let me buy it. I want it....but not trying to break the law.

You can get in trouble for that? I had no idea. I would imagine the store would be held responsible for selling a product before the release date.

The store is...but they could fire the employee as well for it really. It's "illegal" but many stores accidentally do it. I know Sam Goody had a real bad habit of it back when they were open.

It's not breaking the law for someone to buy something before the street date. As long as its not a bootleg, and a legitimate purchase. Street dates are more of a gentlemen's agreement between retailer and distributor. So really the only trouble that comes from it is between the store and the company selling the product. It is honorable, that you informed them of the issue though.

I don't know about other stores in the chain but we were really conscious of it in our store because no one wanted the grief from the company putting out the dvd.

I picked up the Hulk Still Rules and Hulk Hogan Anthology DVDs for $14 total on eBay last week.
I've never seen or owned Hulk Still Rules before and grabbed it because I heard the documentary on the first disc is pretty good. The Anthology I used to own the Anthology and sold it for a decent price about a year ago and pretty much kicked myself for it ever since so I was just waiting for the right deal to come along.
Anyone else own these and still go back and watch either of them?
