Don't know, but I find it interesting that they keep advertising it on their new DVD releases. There is one on the new ECW DVD/Blu Ray

This thread is sadder than the TNA boards. It's not as bad as the channel's Facebook page, though: www.facebook.com/TheWWENetworkWWE hasn't posted a thing since January, and the page is now nothing more than "when is this going to launch"? Or at least that's what I think people are asking; some of the posts are so horribly written that it's kinda hard to tell.

One guy on there seemingly wants his money back.
Uhhh if you seriously already subscribed, before its even out. You have a very very shady cable company

From PWInsider:
WHERE THINGS STAND WITH THE WWE NETWORK by Mike Johnson @ 12:46 PM on 6/19/2012
In recent weeks, WWE has been looking at a model for their proposed network that would see them roll it out as a paid premium channel where subscribers pay "x" a month to their cable or satellite provider to have access to the channel, as you would for HBO.
The feeling is that it would be easier to roll the channel out in that fashion because it would guarantee money for the providers as opposed to expecting them to pay WWE for the content, at least initially.
There is a growing amount of pressure within the company to get the project off the ground and not even the model they've been talking about is 100% a go yet.
---
This thing isn't going to happen, lol. They need to give up on the idea of having it be a traditional cable channel and make it a streaming channel available on every possible connected device (Roku boxes, Apple TV, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, "smart" TVs, etc... as well as online via computers/mobile devices). That's where things are headed.

I'm sure they'll try to launch it anyway but man this is gonna fail hard.

I'd actually prefer if they made it a premium channel like HBO. Better than paying for an entire package of channels that I would most likely never watch. At least this way, I'm paying for something I actually want.

I don't think this is a good idea, it'll bring in some cash but not that much, and won't expose the product to a wider audience.

The deal with ION television had me thinking about the Network today. Is it a good sign that WWE is marketing a new show for a Network other than their own?

I honestly don't understand the cable companies opposition to the WWE Network. Surely their network would get as many viewers as the NHL Network that every cable company carries. Hell, almost all the major NCAA conferences have their own networks now. It makes me wonder if WWE isn't willing to put as much original content on the network as the cable companies want.

I just noticed the WWE Network YouTube trailer that they have liked on their Facebook page is now set to private. Weird.
