Sersi and She Hulk mainly, and Echo (though I dont care about her). In the end Squirrel Girl got be the Nanny, and it was quickly revealed her and Wolverine used to shag, well, have a past, but knowing Logan, used to shag. How much history could they have? I think Squirrel Girl's still in like her late teens. and we all know she only has eyes for Speedball. I dunno, even insinuating she and Wolverine did it just seems icky to me.

What's the issue number for this. I'm always up for some D-Man, I might pick it up just for him. ;D Issue 7 of the new New Avengers run. It's awesome. Tons of cameos. D-Man, Mantis, Machine Man, Groot, Echo, all the rejects. A comic with Machine Man AND Groot? I may to pick this one up. It is the good Machine Man, right? "Death to fleshy ones"?

It is the good Machine Man, right? "Death to fleshy ones"? It is indeed, sir. Mind you, he only shows up for a panel, and a small one at that. Still, worth it, though, for the laughs.

Excellent. Considering Machine Man used to be an Avenger and Monica Rambeau used to lead the Avengers, I can begin to dream that they somehow transform Nextwave into some sort of Avengers team.
Hell, Eric O'Grady's Ant-Man would fit in well with them. Just make them the Secret Avengers.

I had a comic book dream last night involving, of all characters, Shuma-Gorath. I don't know what that means, but I'm a little frightened.

Mart's comic book review. Hi once again Crappers. I try to do these reviews without giving away big spoilers. I am no big authority on comic books just a big happy fan. This time out I went to two different places. I bought my newer comics at this porn magazine/smoking supplies shoppe. The place is pretty rockin' radical. They even have a video peep show area in the back (and Lord knows what else). They also have a couple of small racks of comic books and I know they put out the newest releases out right away. Even if the place comes off sleazy they run the store pretty tight. For the older comics in the loose pile I went to a book store I've been going to since I've been a child. The store owner is such an old school Heavy Metal headbanger and knows pretty much everything about comic books no matter what comic company you ask him about. You can pretty much ask him about anything and you'll get the right decisive answer. Okay, here's my review. I had $14. GO! Fantastic Four #586 "Three" continues here. This comes across as a set up issue for the next ish where the writers of this mag are promising a death of one of the major characters in the FF. There's not really any really huge action panels in here. Reed Richards goes to Nu-World forced by Galactus and looks to be needing to fight/to think harder than he's ever have before. While at the bottom of the sea, Susan holds off a battle between Namor and the Tribes of Old Atlantis but realizes that her death might be a part of the scheme. Back at the Baxter Building insectiods (felt weird reading this because I suspect I have bed bugs in my apartment and when they bite, it hurts) are attacking. Ben Grimm, Johnny Storm and Franlin Richards hold them off but they don't count on a force they they didn't expect from the Negative Zone. They look like they are in deep here and the comic book ends to be continued next month. Unlike the last issue, in #586 it looks possible that all of the Fantastic Four could succumb to a death. Which one will it be? I'd strongly suggest picking up the on-coming FF #587 not only for the story but also for the historic significance of it. What more, FF #587 will be double-sized incased in a special polybag. Totally worth it I think. The writing here makes me want to know the endgame of all this. Green Lantern Corps #54Finally I find a Green Lantern book that I can actually see has something to do with Brightest Day comic event. Great action panels in this book. Sinestro fights Raynor because Raynor wants to bring Sinestro to planet Qward to meet with the Weaponer. Sinestro doesn't want to go. This meeting on Qward has to happen one way or another. You'll have to read the comic book to find out who wins. I'd consider next month picking up GLC #55 but if I'm short on cash well then I'm short on knowing about comic story arc I guess. I don't feel it be a big loss. Superman/Batman #78Fun little story here. It basicly surrounds these two kid boys who are debating on who would win in a fight between Batman and Superman with using these tikes imagination. Some of the panels are gory. This SM/BM comic is starting to become all about stories they (DC) couldn't put elsewhere. The last couple of issues I've read didn't cross-over to universe spanning events or on-going stories. The comic book ends with a team-up story between Power Girl and Huntress. I didn't care enough to remember exactly what went on or care to read it again but the two super ladies are so bitchy and at each others throats at time. Definitely not a "buddy" story. Not bad but I think I may give Supes/Bats magazine a break or at least carefully scan it for the next little while. And now from the loose pile......... The Inhumans #6 (August 1976) Black Bolt goes crazy. BB's mistakely puching out everything and everyone practically. He almost destroys Attilan with all his yelling. A tonne of reading here. You almost get the impression of reading a late 70's/early 80's Uncanny X-Men book. The moral of the story I think is even if you act like an idoit but you are not aware you are an idoit then you are not actually an idoit to begin with. Cool old school advertisements for Spalding Montreal Summer Olympics basketball, Spider-Man mood rings, mighty Marvel mirrors, win free game tickets to your favourite pro-sports team from Sugar Daddy popsicles and Captain America battles the Red Skull for Hostess Twinkies. Did you know that a delicious golden sponge cake can over power a Cosmic Cube? If only Adam Warlock knew that!!1 Super Friends #10 (February/March 1978) From the classic Saturday morning cartoon TV show with all the characters from it. I'll admit this doesn't completely come across as reading only for kids so I was surprised while going through it. This peticular old comic is worth no money at all for some little kid has drawn all over the front cover with a orange ink marker. Zan and Jayna, the Wonder Twins, are new to the Super Friends (also to Earth as well) and don't completely know how to speak English or what they can turn themselves into. The Super Friends attempt to save a young woman from these werewolves, Frankensteins and vampires only to later discover that it's the young woman who is hiding her true evil identity coming from another dimension. The monsters after her are a horor film version of the Super-Friends. The message in the story is to not judge a book by it's cover. Ads in this that stick out are The Joker in a Hostess Fruit Pies caper, Crosman BB pellet guns, "Hands of Steel" hand strenghten exercises, Sea-Monkeys, Slim Jim snacks featuring Count Dracula, Monogram model airplanes, John Travolta posters, Superhero wristwatches and promotions for Power Girl, Firestorm and Super-Man versus Muhammad Ali! Marvel Super Action #16 (February 1980) The story is a re-print from Avengers Annual #2. Here the team travel back in time, meet up and fight the Avengers at the time when the team was just starting out. The issue touches on theories based upon nightmares and sleeping habits. Behind the scenes Doctor Doom, Electro, Doctor Octopus and the Mandarin are looking for the right moment to pounce on the heroes. The story continues with a mission ahead in the next issue. Awesome retro ads for Crosman AirGuns, Lego Expert Builder series, giant full color posters of Scott Baio and Susan Anton(who?), Kawasaki mini motorbikes, Superhero dolls (with removable costumes) and utility belts, Kenner Star Wars toys, ROM the Spaceknight electronic action figure and Mr. Fantastic capturing minor supervillian, Goldigger, for Hostess Twinkies. The Best of DC #71 (April 1986) I actually found this digest sized comic at a different bookstore/theatre. I was there on my walk home because I'll be acting in a play there next month and I wanted to check the place out. Very positive feeling coming from my visit there. This little book I snatched up has the best stories from the year 1985 and it ranges from everything from Superman to the Omega Men to Batman to Atari Force. The stories that stand out with me are Swamp Thing #34(this ones really romantic and VERY psychodelic, just wonderful.), Batman and The Outsiders #21 (cool story featuring Katana) and DC Comics Presents #82 (Supes and Adam Strange put the pain on to some morphin' crab lady named Zazura). These pocket book comics are perfect for giving to a friend who's about to go on, say, a lenghty bus/train ride or just to leave on the coffee table in the living room. That's it from me. I've refrained the best I can, though not a great attempt at that, from comic book shopping just in case friends and family get me something for Christmas that I already have. Everyone in this thread may you have a great Holiday season and see you all in the brand new mint condition year. Ta-ta! Cheers to all.

There needs to be a 5 year moratorium on using Dr Doom or Galactus in Fantastic Four stories. They've got a ton of villains to work with, and a ton of settings to discover new villains.

I recently bought a couple Starjammers comics from a comic store. It was sold as a set. Same with getting the Terminator 2 comics. Probably cheaper than getting the trade online, but I am open to getting the trade as well. Also, I bought the Undertaker comic the other day. I couldn't resist my curiosity.

And create new ones. I mean, off the top of my head. 1) Water Manipulator for Johnny. 2) Someone with Terrakinesis for The Thing. 3) Drederick Tatum for Reed. 4) Light amplifier for Sue. It's not THAT difficult.

Yeah but when we're talking about a big storyline where all of the FF could easily die at least one of them should be involved.
