Agree re. Hickman's FF, while I am sure that he will kill off the wrong person, I really want to read his story

I quite liked the one shots that they've been putting out detailing Bruce looking at all his allies. I would have liked to see a book of him meeting with some of his classic rogues though, they are just as important, if not alot more important, than say, The Outsiders.

He has an army of men sharing his crime fighting name, along with about 5 or 6 different groups hanging around the city fighting baddies, as well as hundreds in the League ready to fight at a moments notice.
Yet, dude probably still won't take time out of the day to take a vacation with Wonder Woman and her lasso for even a second....

...I actually think this is a really f***ing cool idea, personally. I really like the idea of hundreds of Batmen all over the world. I dunno, just think it's cool.

However, I will commend them for going the funding route, like cartoon Iron Man, and not going the reveal route, like movie Iron Man. And, it does seem like it'd be fun to have Joker or someone trying to take over, only to turn around and face about 17 Batmen ready to kick his ass.
Still, it just seems like something he wouldn't do, or maybe he should have done Day 1. Either or.

It's a stupid idea and I hate it. Mainly because the name sucks, Batman Inc.
I sense an 'Armour Wars' style storyline in Bruce's future.

Seriously, Grant Morrison has totally destroyed the character of Batman. I realize that someday another writer will come along and change everything back to normal, but it sucks that I haven't wanted to read the adventures of my favorite superhero in years now thanks to what they've done with him. What happened to Bruce Wayne, who solves mysteries and beats up street thugs, mobsters, and lunatics, while having occasional fights with supervillains while teaming with the Justice League? I can understand reinventing/updating things that have potential but are stale, but Batman is one of the few things in the world of entertainment that doesn't need it. There's a million things you can do with the character without changing the basic concept. As long as he stays in character, you can put him in any given situation and it works, whether he's fighting a purse snatcher or an alien supervillain. Why on Earth are they doing this? Why can't Batman just be Batman? I was going to post a rant, but you summed up my feelings perfectly. Grant Morrison is responsible for me canceling my subscription to Batman, which I'd maintained since the age of 5. I personally don't see what the big deal is. Bruce has been publicly fronting the JLA for years and Batman using Waynetech was an open secret. I do think that having multiple guys calling themselves Batman is a little silly, though.

www.newsarama.com/comics/jms-earth-one-sequel-101110.htmlJMS quit his Superman and Wonder Woman runs in order to hurry our a sequel to his Superman: Earth One graphic novel. I haaaaate this since he started telling a story so he should take the time to finish it (especially with all the mainstream attention his Wonder Woman reboot got).

Shame about Wonder Woman, as that was an interesting (it wasnt really a Wonder Woman story at all, but it was interesting none the less).
I know ALOT of Superman fans are very happy about him leaving that title.

Avengers Crusade #3 just made me very, very happy. Making use of Wonder Man, acknowledging his past with the Scarlet Witch, AND having him knock the crap out of Wolverine? Oh, yes, I am quite satisfied with that issue.

I love Children's Crusade, but parts of it really don't fit in with the rest of what's going on in the MU.
Do really love the word play between Quicksilver and Magneto though, it makes up for anything.

TVTropes pointed out a fun thing about Surge to me.
Cyclops, leader of the X-Men, has a power he needs help from an external device to control, suffers from crippling self doubt and was part of a love triangle between him, Jean Grey and Wolverine. Surge is the leader of the New X-Men team, has a power she needs help from an external device to control, suffers from crippling self doubt and may soon be part of a love triangle between her, Hellion and X-23.

Well, picked up New Avengers today, and they did the ONE THING I didn't want them to do, {Spoiler}the killed off Doctor Voodoo . So, awesome, one of my favorite characters, now dead, and probably not considered important enough to get resurrected anytime soon. Honestly, the only reason I'm bothering with the two "main" Avengers titles anymore is for the "History of The Avengers" backup stories.

Oh, yes, I am quite satisfied with that issue. Wonder Man beat up Wolverine? I'm sold. I'm of 2 minds about JMS leaving Wonder Woman/Superman. on the one hand his run on Superman was really preachy and boring, on the other hand I'm still wondering how his Wonder Woman fits into DC continuity. I'm guessing with him leaving it'll end up being retconned as a dream/elseworld or something. you can't really reboot a character like Wondy when Wonder Girl is still leading the Teen Titans and Donna is with the Justice League.
