Not really relevant to the topic at all, but since this has become the de facto DC topic, I want to see if I"m correct on this: I've always assumed that the three big cities in DC(Gotham, Metropolis, and Central City) were representative of the three big chunks of the US, with Gotham on the east coast, Central City obviously in the mid-west, and Metropolis on the west coast. Am I right in assuming that, because I was recently led to believe that Metropolis was in the midwest as well. Can someone who knows better than me set me straight?

While Metroplis seems to float around general consensus seems to place it in Delaware with Gotham being at least within driving distance.

Yeah, there was once scene in Smallville where Clark was sitting on top of a water tower and he could actually see the city limits.
In any case, it's been pointed out on most in-universe maps as Northern Delaware, with Gotham located in Southern jersey, right across the Delaware River/Delaware Bay.

I always felt like Metropolis was in Illinois. Central City was in Ohio, and Gotham in New York.
Sorry, meant to say Star City in California.

Before everything was officialized, I always liked the idea that Gotham was in New Jersey and that Metropolis was in Connecticut (with Happy Harbor as a suburb of it). Basically New York City would be the midway point between the two.

So DC gets rid of Wonder Woman's star spangled thong, Supergirl's skirt, and Zatanna's fishnets but they tramp up Harley Quinn? Where's the logic in that?

Well. On the one hand, kick in the teeth, on the other.......I do love the Suicide Squad But on saying that, I really, really, hate those redesigns.

Being a hetereosexual male, I must admit the Harley redesign has its merits. But it doesn't fit the character at all. And Deadshot's old look was great. Why mess with it?

I don't like any of those Super family costumes either.
So far, from the new DC stuff, I shall try their Wildstorm team with the 'used to be and might still be' gay characters, I shall give Titans a go and I shall give Suicide Squad a go. Then I shall pick up Booster Gold and the JLI stuff.
So they haven't lost me totally, but over all, I will end up dropping 4 or 5 DC books in total it appears, so, with me as an example, this overhaul will currently lose them money.

Yeah, but, in a way, Harley isn't meant to be 'evil as hell.'
The whole point of her is almost a sort of weird innocence, despite what she does or what Mr J does.
Yeah, sure, she looks 'hot' for a drawing, but I'm not sure her look will match what I like about the character, and thus it makes me believe the character will be changed from what I like, and that annoys me (as I'm sure it would most).

So in exchange for 4 or 5 books you're picking up 4 or 5 different ones? Losing money for sure. And to the guy asking about the GLs. They are pretty much not changing anything in that series. It's picking up right where war of the GLs left off.

That new Harley looks vaguely like the Kingdom Come version of "her".
