Killed my first Giant today. Used archery while in an awkward position it couldn't get to. Still relatively early into the game, only level 10. Nice, that's how I killed my first mammoth. Had about 300 nord arrows and the mammoth wouldn't cross a small amount of water. I felt bad after a while. Level up a good 4 points though. My Companion Lydia took a bit of a beating however, though it worked out in the end. I've just been trying to tidy up my sidequests. Joined the Stormcloaks and the Mage College so far.

I think i'm pretty much done with everything in the game now. Well, there is still the Blades quests and that requires me to kill Paarthurax, and I don't want to.

Anyway, for everybody who has finished the game (more or less), what did you character do after defeating Aduin and becoming leader of pretty much every faction in the game?
My Argonian spent the next several months cleaning up the remaining Imperial camps and Dragons, along with leading a force of Stormcloak soldiers to pushing the Forsworn out of the reach, scattering them and making sure that they are no longer a threat. He was later appointed Jarl of Windhelm after Ulfric became High King, and even later used the Dark brotherhood and Thieves Guild in a plot to kill Ulfric and become High King himself. Rendack spent the remainder of his life as High King of Skyrim, with a rule that lasted over 70 years.

I'm been on a mini-break from Skyrim for a little while, probably get back into it today. Not that I am anywhere near finishing the game but I feel no need to rush it.

Got rid of Alduin last night.
Dragonrend is a godsend in that fight.

It comes down to put upon natives with racist tendencies vs. Wanton killing elf bootlickers. Haven't joined a faction yet but from what I can tell, long story short, the elves are assholes.

If an evil man like Ulfric was caught amidst a civil war he started, and there was an unknown prisoner there, I wouldn't take any damn chances. I can't stand the Thalmor and I've killed every member I've seen, but the Legion still respects everyone equally even if the Dominion has them by the balls.

He just hates elves actually, when I asked to join he seemed surprised but did not seem to mind. Plus, the irony is just hilarious and from a story perspective my ancestor was the hero in the Oblivion crisis and he was made to be the Imperials bitch.

Not to mention it is told how bandits frequents kill troops of Argonians and Khajit outside of town and Ulfric does nothing, yet if even one Nord is threatened he will raise an army. Not to mention his hating Elves is ridiculous as everyone is racist toward Dark Elves yet it is only High and Wood elves that are the Thalmor.

I tried to download a demo from PSN. It froze my PS3 completely and messed up my Hard Drive so I had to do a system restore, etc and I lost the 45 hours I had invested in this game already. DAMMIT! Thank you Playstation. Bastards.
I love the game but I'm taking a break before restarting it. All those hours gone...sigh.

I took a little break since I have so many games I "need" to play, but I may come back to it. I miss killing dragons.

Hey you know what's really fun? Fast traveling and having a Wounded Frostbite Spider spawn RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU while in 1st person view, due to you stupidly using a Reanimate spell on one much earlier in the game. The near heart attack I had was awesome! Thanks, glitch from patch 1.5!

My favorite glitch has to be when you kill a Dragon in a town and its dragon randomly re spawns when you leave and come back, spazing out all over the place.

Doing a second play through is interesting because you actually know what to expect from the game, and it's easier to pick and choose qhat quests you want to do. For my current play through I switched out heavy armor with an axe and shield to light armor with a sword and axe, much better experince IMO.

This is my first playthrough (late to the party) and I'm a level 18 Imperial. I've been a good guy up until learning Fus Ro Dah, because it's just impossible NOT to be a douchebag after you have the power to send people and animals flying.
