Disappointing but very fair, looks like Pettis may have to wait a little longer if they do a rematch. Screw that. Time for the first ever UFC Triple Threat Title match! Book it, Dana!

Great fight though, I wouldn't mind seeing a third one.

So where do they go from here? Rematch ASAP? I'm thinking they still give Pettis his shot, and then give Maynard the choice of taking a fight in the mean time or waiting for his shot against the winner

I'm more interested in seeing this rematch than I was seeing the Shogun/Machida rematch.
I say Maynard, Edgar, and "Smooth" Ben Henderson in a triple threat rules of Nevada match.

That would be interesting. I think Maynard has definitely earned an immediate title rematch. Not popular with the crowd but definitely the right decision to score that with a draw. Maynard definitely hurt Edgar a lot more but Edgar outwrestled him.

Since I just started a Twitter account today, I was reading Dana White's Twitter as he was updating. He was going nuts in the first two rounds.

What a fight.
I was expecting an epic snoozefest considering the participants but that was awesome.
I felt Edgar won 3 rounds(2,4,5) but Maynard's first round was an easy 10-8. So a draw is fair. I was really hoping Edgar would win though.
Edgar-Maynard III should be next.

It's time for Edgar to get the respect he deserves.

More importantly to me, where does this leave Clay Guida? Dude's on a three fight winning streak, who's next for him?

Enjoyable card, scored the main event as a definite draw. And is it just me, or were the refs really stop shy? Leben was OUT 3 times.

Looks like Pettis will indeed be getting the next shot.

Yeah, I couldn't believe it when Stann was standing up and pounding a clearly down and out Leben and the ref is telling Leben he has to defend himself. Ultimately, the ref was right not to stop Edgar/Maynard in the first round but I wouldn't have blame him for doing so.

Looks like Pettis will indeed be getting the next shot. I have to disagree with the UFC here. Pettis was supposed to face the winner and there was no winner. Whatever one thought about the decision, Maynard came as close as possible to winning the match without actually winning. It would be a money rematch, one the UFC shouldn't throw away. Especially with their heavyweight division in limbo at the moment.

Honestly Leben could have died in the cage, and 3 seconds later the ref would have said, "Work Chris."

The one score I was confused by was 48-46 Edgar, suggesting that Edgar won the last four rounds. Still, would have ended up a majority draw anyway.

Glad to hear they'll be doing an immediate Edgar/Maynard rematch. It's only fair and Pettitis will still get to face the winner. It means two more big matches for the UFC. I only hope the rematch ends decisively but is still awesome.
Funny line last night...either Goldberg or Rogan described Clay Guida as "basically the Ultimate Warrior without the face paint." He does look a lot like the Warrior without paint. Looks like Johnny Damon too.
