Sorry, no. I recorded all my PPVs at LP, so any transfers will not be sharp. Not that ANYONE is suggesting trading here (or iOffer- thats my words not his). With PPV's at least 3 hours apiece, that doesn't surprise me. However, nothing makes you prouder than transferring a tape to DVD by yourself.

I wrapped up all my loose ends with my wants for the PPV events, as I am only a collector of a full year of events from 2009 and beyond. I am happy with just the good events from 2002-2008, which I have a whole lot of.
Aside from those recent buys, I still need to pick up the latest Shawn Michaels set and I'll be fulfilled with my collection. It's still a bit too expensive for me to purchase right now.

Its really not all that rare anymore. I mean its not common, but its not impossible to find either. I would only pay 15 bucks for it, 20 tops. Do not pay more than 20. www.getdvdprices.com/search/?isbn=651191570188See, the price on it isn't as high as you'd think. Some fools are still trying to get 100 bucks for it though. Like I said, get it between 15 and 20 at all possible. Well, the guy told me that it is 16 dollars, which I am assuming is encased in one of those protective cases so that nobody can steal them or anything like that. At that store I go to, they usually tape the case up so that nobody can take the disc, but when it's in very good condition, they usually use that protective case. So I guess I am good to go on what you said. There are some exceptions to the "over 20" deal and that usually has to do with WWF DVDs. Well you're getting it for a good price then. And yeah some WWF DVD's go for some higher prices, but I think the rarest and most expensive WWF/E DVD's came out after the change to WWE. I did pay 240 bucks for Raw Homecoming after all lol. Stupid bidding war.

I remembered I had an Amazon gift card from Christmas 09 with like $17 on it so today I bought Raw the Beginning and Wrestlemania X8 from that reseller dude (fulfilled by Amazon). Free 2 day shipping so I should get them Friday!

Good stuff there. I finally...FINALLY got my King of the Ring 93/94 Tagged Classic today. It feels like I've been waiting 6 months for it. But then again the other 6 sets I ordered arrived really fast, from overseas no less.

With PPV's at least 3 hours apiece, that doesn't surprise me. However, nothing makes you prouder than transferring a tape to DVD by yourself. First issue: finding all the tapes. I've moved no fewer than four times since my taping days, so running them all down is tough. Second issue: There is a LOT of tape. Every RAW between Mind Games and Royal Rumble '97, plus Live Wires and Superstars. Then RAWs two weeks after Survivor Series until probably Wrestlemania X-8 with some holes. Smackdown is worse, but I have a healthy percentage. Oh, and yes, I have the last Nitro as well. And, like I said, all PPVs between WM 14 and Unforgiven 2002, including OTE '99 and Wrestlemania All Day. Like I said, a LOT of tape. Which means a LOT of DVDs. Which means a LOT of money. I'll get around to it someday. I hope.

Hopefully you'll get them all transferred before the tape deteriorates. I have a ton of old stuff on blank tapes that more than likely won't play anymore. Which is fine because I have most of it on DVD now anyway.

Borrowed the Chris Jericho DVD from a cousin, and watching the post-Raw segment with Jericho & Stone Cold, I think a DVD with nothing but post-Raw and post-Smackdown segments could sell.

Is that the one before No Way Out 2003 (an extra on that DVD) where Chris Jericho comes down to have a beer with Stone Cold? I really miss the DVDs from 2003 or so where they put a lot of effort into building substantial supplement sections. I'm in 2006 now and it's dire, just very brief pre/post match interviews.

I don't really frequent this thread, but I thought I'd try my luck here in the hopes that someone could help me out.
As you can see in my sig, I have a new, still sealed copy of SummerSlam 2000. Not a re-seal, but a genuine, brand new copy with all the security tags still in place. I got this as a Christmas gift back in the day after I'd already bought a copy for myself, so I never bothered opening it. I originally wasn't going to sell it, but times are tough enough now that I need the cash, and I was wondering how much I could get for it. Any thoughts?

Prices for opened ones seem to hover around $20. There's one sealed on half.com for $60, but that reflects more what that seller wants for it than what people are paying for it.

Half.com isn't the best gauge for that though really. If you can I would list it on Ebay and start it at 40 dollars. Offer free shipping too, the cost of shipping a DVD is not very much at all, and more people will be drawn to something if it has free shipping. Selling it online though is the only way to get any decent money for it. You take it to buy/sell/trade place and they are gonna try to hose you on it. You said it was a gift so you're gonna profit either way, but you should at least try to get a fair price for it. I would say between 40 and 60 would be a good price for Summerslam 2000 still sealed. And on that note, we're about to the max on this thread. I'll start a new one.
