this. Miz ripped the spotlight and placed it firmly, on himself no more or less than he did with his other attacks on Cena. this was two birds with one stone, without corny ass jokes. Just straight up goods delivered

That crowd sucked. They hardly popped for AUSTIN. THe got loud for the first stunner, that was about it Maybe after a decade of a middle aged guy being a one trick pony has started to wear thin? I think if Austin was a suprise it would have been bigger. Okay, then, help us out here. Every new superstar being created is doomed, because none of them will ever be as popular as the guys from yesterday. But the guys from yesterday aren't cutting it either (Austin's a one trick pony, blah blah blah; the Taker droning promos and the HBK "True Hollywood Story" interviews aren't inviting standing o's either). So what are we looking at, they just screwed. And as far as Cena goes, he's been going from getting no heat to getting negative heat 'cause he's feuding with a goddamned actor! Edge is at the end of his rope, HHH and 'Taker are leaving soon, so either the writers start giving a damn about the talent they have, or they're screwed six ways from Sunday. Oh, and your "future great" Morrison isn't exactly killing the crowd, either. In fact, Cole's about the only person who's been able to get a sustained reaction from the crowd; on the basis of who got the louder reaction tonight, we should go ahead and throw the strap on Cole. And unless you're gonna tell me that Cole is a better mic or ring worker than any of the people you've been s***ing on in this or several other posts, it's clear that writer investment is just as important as superstar investment. If you don't care about your current talent, let alone your champions, why should anyone else?

What has Austin been other than the (show up, Stunner, leave) Guy, does that become interesting for eternity just because it was so great for a awhile? Second, I have ZERO problem with anything regarding the Undertaker. He's delivered the goods at just about every Mania for the last half decade. Thats his thing now, and I'm fine with it. He's old, he's broken down but he can still go as good as anyone at Mania. In regards to HBK I'd love to have him back, one of a handful of greats in the biz. And yes, I think Morrison is a future great, Seemed to get a solid pop from a crowd that was apparently so dead they didnt fall at the altar of The Miz's awesomeness tonight. You dont think the fact Cole and Vickie Guerrero get the best heel pops isnt an indictment of the poor product the WWE is putting forward right now? Sure, in your world writer investment means as much as the guy playing the role... Thats garbage, if that were the cas you wouldnt have The Rock and Austin trying to save the company from mediocrity today

Sure, in your world writer investment means as much as the guy playing the role... Thats garbage, if that were the cas you wouldnt have The Rock and Austin trying to save the company from mediocrity today I repeat, in big bold letters: If you don't care about your talent, why should anyone else? And it's not "my world," it's the real world. The same real world in which Elijah Burke went from "face-left-blank heel jobber" to someone not only worth giving a damn about, but a possible future world champion in D'Angelo Dineiro. Same goes with the WWE's heroes, or as they were known before management took a chance (or were forced to, if you will): "Stunning" Steve Austin, the Blue Chipper, Super Liger, "Mean" Mark Callous, Oz, Jean Paul Levesque, Issac Yankem, and the list goes on. There's no way you could tell me, with a straight face, that if Bradshaw before he was given the JBL gimmick wasn't even considerable, let alone believable in the main event, that either of these people would have been. Wake up, this isn't the Attitude Era. Aside from the Rock, and maybe Cena, everyone else is reading off scripts. Hell, half the reason Dineiro can get over now is that he isn't being given blinders and a line of dialogue to read by TNA management. Or maybe, again, they should release Miz, let him go there, let him stand on his own two feet, and wait for the tirade of bitching from the IWC about how they never gave him a chance.

Quick question, was the fan run in at the end noticeable on TV?

Quick question, was the fan run in at the end noticeable on TV? They kept the camera on Miz's face for an awkward amount of time then you could see Security escorting the guy up the ramp.

Okay...what did I miss? My DVR cut off as Miz said "Because I'm The Miz..." Miz gave the Awesome Elbow to Cena, followed by "AWWWWWWWWWWWWESOME!", and then credits. (A shot of fan running in hidden there?)

Note from post-Raw {Spoiler}For the bonus main event of Miz & C.M. Punk vs. Orton & Cena, Punk came out first. Then, Miz came back out. Then, Orton came out and Punk put on Cena's "Via Satellite" t-shirt and Cena's hat. ha! I really think the Miz is running away with this feud. He's taken the Rock/Cena BS and co-opted it into something much better and honestly more important, i.e a wrestling match for the World Title. Part of me thinks Rock and Miz are in cahoots, but I don't know. Anyway - I thought the Ziggler return was alright, but would have been much better if they gave him a feud or something to keep the focus on him. Maybe with Bourne or Morrison, but we'll see. "I bring it via satellite" is probably the funniest thing Cena's done. Cole's done a great job of getting heel heat with me. His interrupting the Diva's match has sealed the deal on me wanting to see him get shut the hell up. I just wish they had an actual active wrestler to shut him up with.
