Good call on suggesting Jake Roberts. I'd forgotten he was a Georgia native and got his start in GCW.

When's he getting in? ![](http://thehotglove.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Jake-The-Snake.jpg) When the WWE can count on him showing up to the ceremony sober? Was Sensational Sherri sober during her speech? I've often wondered this since he's been mentioned in here but is the whole showing up on Nitro and Raw on the same night the reason Rick Rude isnt in yet?

I gotta say that I wish Savage, Arn Anderson, Luger and Simmons are inducted. But it seems that they always include a celebrity and a lower card guy as well, so who could these two be? Maybe... The Patriot? From what I understand, the dude had a good career in Japan too. And as far as the celebrity goes, I have no clue, so I vote for one of the worst guest commentator of all time, Art Donovan. How much does dis guy weight?

I would imagine they are going to shy away from wrestlers who died as a result of drug problems. To that end, it may be a while before Jake gets, unless he's sober and can stay that way for a while. I have a feeling Jake would show up totally sober, then "celebrate" afterwards and cause a scene. I would hope not, but it could happen.

I don't want Arn Anderson inducted this year. It's not that I have an issue with Arn being in there, I don't, he deserves to be in there. It's because it just wouldn't be right for Arn Anderson to be inducted into the Hall of Fame by anyone other than Flair. And even if someone like Tully Blanchard were to induct Arn, it wouldn't be right without Flair in attendance.

Yeah, gotta agree with, I didn't think about the Flair being in TNA issue.
Though if we're lucky, he'll leave or get fired along with Hogan and Bischoff before the HOF, or TNA will cease to exist.
Seriously, I want to like TNA, especially with the guys they have, but right now, the product is stupid and un-involving, and it's a shame Ric has ruined his retirement moment for that. Unless Vince pulls out a class act (which he doesn't do often) and let an employee from another wrestling company in the ceremony, then yeah, maybe they can wait a year or two for Arn.

According to Meltzer they're looking at Abby, the Road Warriors and Bob Armstrong as inductees to accentuate the Atlanta feel. Dave also mentions Jim Barnett as a possibility.

Though its an impossibility (especially this year), i'd like to see Jim Cornette inducted, just to see what he'd do with a live mic (hopefully he'd be respectful and not start ranting about russo and michaels). Some other possibilities: Hacksaw Duggan Rick Martel The Rock N Roll Express Bam Bam Bigelow Vader

A possible Rumble Spoiler: {Spoiler} With the rumors that Kevin Nash and Booker T are surprise entrants for the Rumble, I wouldn't be surprised to see either or both inducted this year. And since its never too early to think about next year, Trish Stratus (likely) and The Rock (don't see it happening) are being rumored for the 2012 HOF induction.

In his shoot interview Flair stated that he believes the day Arn gets inducted well be just as big as the time he was put into the Hall of Fame. While there are other guys fit to Induct Arn, I don't think they would have a speech that will have the 1/2 passion and excitement that Flair would for inducting his closest friend in the business (this is also why i HATED them having anyone but Arn inducting Flair back in 08)

I think it'd be a bit of a slap to his other, more talented brothers, but if that's what it takes to get the Armstrongs in the Hall.

I do not see Nash because it should be HBK to induct him. And its kinda hard to induct and be inducted the same night.

Scott Hall could induct him. As long as it was the first induction of the evening, before the complimentary drinks are out in force....

I am almost certain the next induction will be Bullet Bob Armstrong.
They hit you with a huge induction right at the bat, so they will follow it up with a induction the common wrestling fan will never even heard of. So my guess is Bob Armstrong.
I say if the Road Warriors get inducted, it will be one of the last ones announced on TV
