ARN NEEDS TO GET IN ALREADY. THIS ^^^ However, YAY for Hacksaw, a double tough athlete both in and out of the ring. Beating cancer and being an ultra over face most of his career, other than stupid WCW writing circa ('99-2000).

All these praises that Hacksaw is getting about being one of most recognizable/beloved characters in WWE's history is well deserved... but is also equally as deserved by Koko B. Ware, who got tons of negative feedback on his induction on this board.... which still really bothers me to this day.
EVERYONE knows Koko and Duggan.

Duggan was incredibly over and for the most part of his career, especially in the WWE, he was heavily pushed. He was very rarely beaten. I don't think it's fair to put Koko and Duggan on the same level.

No lie..I marked when they announced Hacksaw. Marked hard. Somewhere in an old photo album, there is a picture of me holding a 2x4 with my thumb up and my tongue out. I loved Hacksaw more than Hogan for a time when I was a child.

PLUS Duggan is also a former United States Champion...AND he beat Steve Austin for it. ...yes it all took place in WCW but WWE counts WCW's lineage with the US title into their own US title's lineage.

Was anybody else expecting Lex Luger when they did the whole American spiel?

Don't know if this has been mentioned, but someone called into Right After Wrestling last night and said they could "100% confirm" Sunny in the Hall Of Fame.
Of course, take this with a grain of salt.

Was anybody else expecting Lex Luger when they did the whole American spiel? Yep. And as I said earlier in the thread, I don't want Arn Anderson to be inducted without Ric Flair being there. Even if Tully inducted him, Flair would have to be in the audience.

I thought last night's induction would have been Luger, just by the intro to the video package. But, I think Duggan deserves it more... he didn't have as much as a popular impact on wrestling as Luger, but he has had one of the longest successful careers in recent memory. Plus, his work in Mid South was great, from what I've seen (mostly, matches from his feud with Ted Dibiase).

Of course, take this with a grain of salt. It's back a few pages, Sunny has denied it. That's not to say nothing has changed since then, however.

THRILLED to see him get in.
Not the best "worker" ever, but the guy had a charisma most guys can only dream of.
His crowd reactions were bigger than some of today's main eventers

So now there is speculation that Sunny is going in?
Well here is my view on this possibility:
WWE likes to have a female induction at the Hall of Fame and there is not an exhaustive list of women to induct. A more deserving Miss Elizabeth died young and drugs were involved. In Tammy's case, she would be able to appear at the HOF. Also, if WWE inducts her this year then WWE gets to induct her while she still looks pretty good like fans remember her. In the past few years WWE has portrayed Sunny as "the original Diva" and talking about how she paved the way for the divas of the Attitude Era and of today. This will be the overall message of her induction video.
