2011 WWE Hall of Famer "Bullet" Bob Armstrong recently spoke with Slam Wrestling. Some highlights: What he's doing now: "I wrestle almost every weekend, sometimes through the week. That's pretty rough when you're 71." Going into the WWE Hall of Fame: "It was a real big surprise. It was something that I never thought would happen to me. I worked with Vince's dad quite a bit. I loved that man, he was a great guy. I was booking down south, and if I asked for Andre or one of their big stars, he'd always accommodate me, make it right for me, send them right over." Armstrong also noted that all four of his sons will be inducting him into the Hall in Atlanta - "Road Dogg" BG James, Brad Armstrong, Scott Armstrong and Steve Armstrong. Anyone else ever notice that they older guys who worked for Vince Sr. always talk about much they LOVED the guy, but Vince Jr gets damn near NO love at all? Even Andre (by Bret Hart's account) disliked Jr as opposed to Sr. Depends on who it is. The Godwins in their shoot interview really liked McMahon.

Loved that video package and cannot wait to see her again.
Love to see her back for a limited run tbh, some of the blander guys coming out of NXT could really do with a mouthpiece.....

Yay for Sunny going into the HOF. Wonder who's gonna inducted her? I'm guessing Trish Stratus. That was my thinking as well.

Congratulations SUNNY! I loved her induction clip. I too am excited to see Sunny again. I liked Sunny in that she was like the stereotypical bitch, but she was such a good talker and always seemed hella confident in everything she did.

It really was a great video package. I could see her coming back for a year or so; I said a while back she would make a good foil for Vickie Guerrero, and a good manager for Dolph Ziggler. I'm surprised she's in so soon. I guess Sable won't be far off.

Hmmmmm. I really thought the video package wasn't very good for her. Guess it's good others liked it.
Anyway, congrats to Sunny. No diva, besides Trish deserves it more. Elizabeth wasn't a diva, calm down.

Elizabeth wasn't a diva, calm down. Sunny was "the original diva," but she didn't do nearly as much for WWE as Sable, though Sable did try to sue WWE. However, if a company brings you back AFTER you try to sue them, then the company already has shown it can put that behind them. Sunny was mostly in WWE during darker periods and was a manager for many forgettable tag teams. Her best work was as an on screen personality/host/special referee. Her WWE career actually wasn't that long and I don't feel her ECW or WCW work was that great. I did enjoy her in SMW as Tammy Lynn Fytch, but this is kind of an obscure part of her career. I will not deny her great personality and charisma, but I will certainly disagree that she deserves it more than Sable and to a lesser degree Chyna. However, I think it will be much harder for WWE to get Sable to accept. Unlike Tammy Sytch, Sable does not make appearances at wrestling conventions and wrestling shows throughout the year. Sable doesn't really seek out attention, though she was featured briefly in the Lesnar/Valesques Countdown Special, but she was never identified as a former entertainer, just Brock's wife. She and Brock have children now and they seem to be increasingly private people now and Brock seems uncomfortable with the media. Also, it is possible that her marriage to Brock might influence her decision should WWE ever try to induct her.

Also, it is possible that her marriage to Brock might influence her decision should WWE ever try to induct her. I think Sunny deserves it more because she accepts wrestling as a part of her life. She's appeared at several ROH shows. Sable hasn't. And that's why she's getting into the HoF.

Sunny was eye candy who (for the most part) stayed out of the ring. Sable was eye candy who got in the ring and (while over) sucked.
Therefore, Sunny > Sable.

On this point, Tammy is about 5 years younger and does not have any children. She makes many wrestling appearances all over the country throughout the year. I assume this is done both as a means of income and because she loves wrestling. Rena is a mother to young children and is married. Her husband even trains near his home to stay close to the family. To me, the two former divas are just at different points in their lives. I think Rena has little interest in trying to hold on to fame. If she wanted, she could make herself much more visible. Also, Rena is very well off financially as her husband is one of the highest paid fighters in the world and possibly the biggest box office draw in any sport.
When I said Sable was worth more to WWE than Sunny, it was not based on how much they do with the industry today, over ten years after their runs. It was based on what they actually did for the company. In 1998 and 1999, as Sunny was gone from WWE and was starting to have "demons," Sable exploded in popularity and was one of the key acts that led to WWE's rise, along with Austin/McMahon feud, DX, and the rise of the Rock. She was the first WWE diva to pose for Playboy and it was a huge seller. Sable was a big part of WWE's rise in popularity of the late 1990s. Sunny wasn't. Sable helped draw big ratings for WWE and arguably helped sell PPVs. Sunny was mostly a featured performer in 1996 and 1997 when WWE was less popular and less visible. Her role in 1998 was significantly smaller as her personal demons started to take over.
I am not saying Sable was better or more talented. I was responding to someone who said that Sunny was the most important Dvia (along with Trish) for WWE. My opinion is that Sable was much more important (again, not saying she was better or more talented). Personally, I think Sunny was much more natural on screen and the camera loved her. She was more more charismatic and had more natural ability. However, Sunny was not more important to WWE (at least in my view).

Also, it is possible that her marriage to Brock might influence her decision should WWE ever try to induct her. Sable was eye candy willing to get naked, Sunny was not. There's the difference in popularity there. Sable was god awful in the ring, Sunny stayed on the outside where she was most effective. Sable took down the career of Marc Mero, while not exactly a hot hand, they had high expectations for him. Sunny elevated all the talent she worked with and she got some stinkers to try and help get over, Godwins, Zip, LOD 2000. Sable was abysmal on the mic, Sunny was excellent on the mike and got the reactions she wanted. Sable was a huge star, but Sunny is the one I remember.

Yay for Sunny going into the HOF. Wonder who's gonna inducted her? Elmo. Bret Hart. Shawn Michaels from backstage will scream 'Sunny Days for Bret again!' and Hart will run backstage and brawl with HBK, knocking down the set on stage. The collapsing stage will scare the master of ceremonies Mean Gene who will loudly exclaim 'f*** it!' into the mic.

I just know there will be some tearful moments during Sunny's induction mostly about her love for the sport but also for Skip (Chris Candido). It will be a very nice moment for her and she deserves every bit that comes from her HOF Night.
Who I think should induct her. I think it should be Tom Prichard.

Maybe Road Warrior Animal could induct her since she did briefly manage LOD or maybe Joey Styles since they worked together in ECW or even Lawler.
