The Ultimate Warrior's finishing move was renamed Amazing Slam & Splash. I think I see what they did there.
Also how does the Screw spinebuster, a move that presumingly damages the back, able to cause the opponent to be busted open?

I miss being able to set up, and sit in, a chair for no reason, as well as frog splashes from helicopters and snowball fights.
I DON'T miss the weird entrances from the first game where it was just a person walking in front of a screen.

I miss being able to set up, and sit in, a chair for no reason I LOVED that, I remember I was playing JBI with my dad and Tazz randomly ran down and started attacking him. So I grabbed a chair and sat my ass down and watched him get suplexed around the ring

I miss chairs, dustbin lids and the like that didn't disappear after 3 shots.

Seriously what was with the sitting in a chair thing? Was it because it just amused the developers?

Climbing the fist and KOTR chair in Shut Your Mouth. SYM's story mode also had delightful typos. "We're about to check the fan pole."
Glitch in HCTP story mode: attacking your opponent in the contract signing and forfeiting the title shot. Stephanie responded:
"You idiot! JWEFS$#&$!"%-*lg±|WJNRFREWIWS#&"$%=$#&"

In one or more games, sometimes the announcers will be talking about wrestlers who aren't even in the match.
Shawn Michaels was constantly given a move he NEVER used, the Fame Asser. That would be like giving Stevie Ray the Harlem Hangover.
Kane was constantly given the Powerbomb as a finisher, despite him only using this briefly in 2001. I am sure most of us changed it to Tombstone Piledriver.
The unlockable movesets meant to be Sting's always gave him the scoop-reverse DDT instead of just the regular reverse DDT (aka Scorpion Death Drop).

In HCTP where you can just set up a table in the corner and keep running into it until the opponent grapples you and catapults you into it giving you a DQ win.

Hawk's diving clothesline finisher in HCTP doesn't actually work because the opponent is not dazed long enough unless you change his corner attack to the clothesline + leap-to-turnbuckle combo.
Yeah, it isn't smart to have wrestlers with aerial moves to standing opponents as finishers.

In HCTP where you can just set up a table in the corner and keep running into it until the opponent grapples you and catapults you into it giving you a DQ win. That's how Charlie Haas beat Animal to main event Wrestlemania. Brock Lesnar having to be saved by a returning ref, from Ultimo Dragon. Yeah, Ultimo Dragon was beating the shit out of Lesnar to the point where a ref had to make the save. Kane being in the HBK in 2002 spot, complete with him dancing like HBK. I also miss the crazy backstage and ringside stuff. Jumping off the Smackdown Fist, the King of the Ring chair, helicopters, off of WWE New York, semi trucks, and anything you could climb, and riding a motorcycle around the back. You could get lost in a Hardcore Title feud because of that stuff, and not even care you're high enough on the card to go after the WWE Title. Damn you THQ, why'd you take out the crazy stuff. And it's not nostalgia, that stuff was getting praised when the games were released. It added a whole other dimension to the game.

I still crack up at the fact that no matter who you're teaming with, the partner will still execute certain moves on the opponent. I noticed this when I played as Matt Hardy in season mode and teamed up with The Rock in a tag match, as well as Undertaker. Taker and Rock doing high flying moves was so surreal. Sure, Taker may have a few flying moves, but it was still funny seeing moves that Matt Hardy would do.
Also, did anybody ever use the motorcycle in backstage brawls?

Not Smackdown but I think WWF No Mercy or WWF Wrestlemania 2000 or maybe both but Real American syncs up nicely with the low blow in one of the tron vids. I want to say Chyna.
