With Christian finally winning the WHC at Extreme Rules, what other tag teams have went on to both win either the WWE or WHC titles?

I wouldn't think so because Simmons had already won the belt before they teamed up.

Key phrase is "went on." Ron won his World Title waaay back in WCW. Sting & Luger tagged frequently and both went on to win World Titles, but they weren't really a "regular" tag team. Maybe the Rock 'N Sock Connection?

Matt Hardy, if you count the SyFy ECW title as a world title.

Same as above. HBK had already won the WWF title before DX was created.

I dont even really count the WHC. The WWE Title is the one with a history dating back 40 years.

Matt Hardy, if you count the SyFy ECW title as a world title. If so, then Los Guerreros also counts (Eddie as WWE Champ/Chavo as ECW Champ).

Shawn Michaels and Kevin Nash? Steve Austin and Dude Love? Kane and Mankind?
Not sure if any of those were champions prior to being tag champs

I dont even really count the WHC. The WWE Title is the one with a history dating back 40 years. Yeah, a 40-year history is much better than a 63-year history.

The WHC is not the WCW title according to the official title history. Granted the WWE randomly changes their mind on it in kayfabe... but the official history starts with Triple H. www.wwe.com/inside/titlehistory/worldheavyweight

That is if you chose to accept the WHC belt as the original NWA belt, as it was a belt created by WCW in 1991 as a complementary belt separate from the NWA belt.
