I haven't watched this yet, didn't know he was on last night. But seeing as Ryan Tubridy is doing the interview I'm already worried about the cringe worthy things he might come out with.

I love Sheamus. He has a unique look, can work like whoa, has a genuine respect and appreciation for the business from years of striving to make it, and I think he could be an international ambassador for the company.
It boggles the mind that he's yet another victim of the WWE Yo-Yo Push System.
Granted, I didn't believe he should have gotten his first world title when he did, but by May of last year, I absolutely bought him as a main event guy and thought he was for real.
It really is a shameful thing.

It's not too bad. It starts a bit rocky, but Sheamus is able to play off Ryan's gibberish well once he gets going.

That show is trying to be American/Leno or whatever way too much :\ I know it's called the Late Late Show but it's just like a carbon copy lol
That said, whatever song he came out to, did sound like a weird rendition of his theme, I approve of that.
Other than that, cool interview.

Depends whether it always looked like that and had it's house band jazzing about before America's version or not? lol

He likes his flat caps doesn't he! I'm not a fan of them and wouldn't wear them myself, but they look good on him. He looks very dapper.

Yeah that could be considered a copy but I like that part. The show itself I'm not a fan of. Used to be huge and very controversial but that has changed over the years. Now most people you talk to will say they don't like it but it still pulls in the ratings and is the flagship show of RTé. The interview was ok, not great. The usual you would expect in situations like this when the interviewer hasn't a clue about wrestling.

Watching this last night, I noticed that Sheamus' skin tone looks pretty normal compared to Tubridy and everyone else there.
Which leads me to the unfortunate conclusion that we're all that pale.
....or the amount of fake tan everyone else wears is ridiculous.

Some of those wrestlers are ridiculously over tanned but we are very pale. When I was in Florida wearing just a t-shirt and shorts I stuck out a mile!

He's a great spokesman for the company and for the business.

He's a great spokesman for the company and for the business. There seems to be a conflict with this. I know the Tonight Show is on since then but all records I have ever read state the Late Late show is the longest running chat show. Must be some technicalities or something. Sheamus would make a great spokesman for the company. I'd say he has a good long future with WWE. Also it is funny thats I'd say less than 5% of the audience last night knew who Sheamus was. He never gets any publicity even when he won the WWE Championship. In fact when ever I point Sheamus out to anyone either online or on TV the first comment I always get back is "What sort of name is Sheamus, theres no such name, I never heard of him". I suppose it just shows the general view when it comes to wrestling.

Well I'm only going by any records I have read or heard. That little stat is always said with no mention about longest host. Check online and you will see. Now if I am wrong, its only from false advertising and I'm sure RTÉ have publicised this fact on numerous occasions as well.

He took the United States title and brought it to Ireland? THIS MEANS WAR!!!!!!
Or maybe not. It's a nice interview. Always like seeing wrestlers get to be themselves if only for a night.

I like Sheamus and his efforts to protect the business. However, I can't seriously believe that this young Irishman really likes the new direction of the WWE away from the crimson masks of old. I don't give a damn about the boobies and all that rubbish they used to waste TV time with, but I WANT TO SEE BLOOD.
And I'd no idea Ireland had its own television stations. Every Paddy I've ever met seems to get the BBC despite that he doesn't pay for the bloody channels and I do.
