So much for the Christian story having a good pay off eh? I think we've finally reached the point where we can just assume everything WWE books is going to end up stupid instead of the "wait and see how it plays out" approach of last year. I thought heel turn was going to be pay off?

I've read a longer version of Christian's opening promo, and it's a bit more detailed than him wandering out, going "You guys suck!" then complaining to Teddy.
Have to wait and see what the actual thing is like, but it sounds like it's one of these "I'm the good guy here" heel mindsets that Christian has going on.

Damn it im going to miss babyface Christian, even though he is a better heel (only just cause he's great at both) a good/cool/fighting face with a personality is hard to find in this day and age, and yet he is able to pull it off. I only hope that Christian gets the World Title at CP having a long run with a character similar to his 04/05 run.

Woohoo for Sheamus and AJ winning. Everything else, meh, sounds like a pretty lame episode overall.

That was a brilliant heel promo by Christian...and the fact of the matter is, he's absolutely right. These are the same fans who cheered him so greatly when he finally won The World Heavyweight Championship...yet cheered another man over him when his dream was snatched away from him. Then they want him to play nice with Randy Orton? Why in the hell should he? It's basically The WWE Universe saying "Yeah, Christian we like you...but we like Randy Orton better. We'd really like to see Randy Orton as the champion and not you" In a kayfabe sense, he's correct. He does deserve a legit shot. Teddy Long polling the fans (in a poll where the winner was so f***ing obvious) can basically be seen as Long wanting the title on Golden Boy Randall. Christian's good but he's not good enough is basically what I'm getting out of this...
As a fan, who was so damn happy when he finally won The World Title. Hell, Christian winning The World Title is right up there with The Rock winning The WWF Title from Triple H at Backlash as my absolute favorite wrestling moment. As a fan who was f***ing irate when he lost the title for no reason. I will always side with Christian on this... WWE can turn Christian heel all they want...but he's still a babyface in my eyes
I waited all these years to finally see Christian as number 1, and when he finally reaches that position, Randy Orton takes the spot from him. WWE has basically put it into our heads that Randy Orton has ended Christian's dream...so why the f*** should I like Randy Orton? In fact, I dislike him more than ever. The image of Randy Orton with the World Title fills me with hate. Because I wanted Christian dammit...
I still think turning Christian heel was the wrong move, but he's Christian...I really shouldn't be complaining

I'm glad they let Christian just turn heel instead of transforming him into SRS Christian. sigh... This literally made me lol.

This is the most bizarre heel turn I've ever seen.. but I love it.
There should be NO ONE who could sympathize with Orton over this.. as CJ said above.. Christian is absolutely in the right here.. and he has every right to be pissed.

I sympathize with Orton. He didn't _ask_ to be put in the match.

I understand where you guys are coming from, but the idea that nobody should sympathize with Orton is ridiculous.
I think some people, including me, are more inclined to root for Orton because Christian (and his fans) are crying and throwing a fit over losing (twice).

Raise your hand if you think Jinder Mahal will still be around in 2 years. *raises hand* Lamer, duller people have lasted longer.

Raise your hand if you think Jinder Mahal will still be around in 2 years. I do. I thought he was impressive in his debut match.

I'm just saying that the way people reacted to it was off-putting and came of like whining.

And good riddance to the Corre. An awful name, an awful theme song, and a faction that'd already done everything it could do by the end of last year, and which has only been holding back the genuinely talented members ever since. Maybe now Gabriel can finally be used as a singles midcard babyface. Absolutely, Corre was a joke, I can't believe anyone could be upset about them breaking up. All they've done since they've been together is tease dissention and had terrible feuds with Big Show, Kane, and Zeke. They were SES, without the Straight Edge Cult thing, just 3 dudes losing. Corre breaking up is good for all of them...besides Slater, he's screwed, as much as I like him. But the other two..the other two will be ok. I don't see how Orton is a bad guy in his situation. All he's done is receive a title match, win it clean, and defend his title by winning clean, and just wants to be the champ and fend off all comers. He was respectful of Christian throughout their feud before Christian turned. Whats happening is Orton is staying the exact same, while Christian went from a straight forward, hard working wrestler to a smarmy, manipulative douche who will take any shortcut possible. Christian's the heel here, though his reasons are justified he is what he is, and he is a pouty bitch. That being said, Orton would have to anally rape Edge while pouring sugar in Christian's gas tank to get booed these days.

So...the Corre thing....
Um...why exactly did Wade need them? He's twice their size after all. What's stopping him for whopping the crap out of both of them at the same time? Maybe the whole thing wasn't about power but about an excuse to watch Ginger abuse? I'd laugh. But then what does Justin add? Suppose they share hairdressers?
So where to go from here, supposing they don't drop all three into opposite corners of jobberville and midcard land. Maybe Wade goes ballistic, claims that everything he did was to help his friends (after all, they wouldn't be employed if it weren't for his Nexus plan), and starts wiping out former Nexus members one-by-one until someone "pays attention to him". Heck, I dunno. I just hope they don't drop their whole back story like a hot potato and pretend it didn't happen.

I guess I liked Corre because it was the last remaining piece of the Original Nexus which I loved so much.
