With nXt 5 fast approaching the end it's time to look ahead. As we all know, the winner of nXt 5 moves on to nXt 6. But who do you think will join him? The list above is all the male wrestlers in FCW who have not already appeared on nXt or are not currently on the Raw or Smackdown roster (a possible exception is Ricardo Rodriguez, but he's mostly been an announcer rather than an in ring competitor.) After the last couple of NXT seasons I watched, I definitely hope Steamboat and Rollins DON'T have to go though that crap. I would rather them just debut on Raw/SmackDown when they are ready ala Alberto Del Rio, Sin Cara, Kharma, and Jinder Mahal. However, I seem to be in the minority here.

Yeah, see, I don't really want Rollins, Steamboat, Ambrose, Woods, etc. to be on NXT, because it has not proven to be any sort of help to anyone's career except Alex Riley, and maybe Wade Barrett. They are all mostly above it, anyhow.
That said, I think for people like Bobby Dutch, Jason Mullen, Langston, etc., NXT is their only hope of ever making it onto WWE TV.
Also, somehow I see Sin Cara as a pro to Hunico being hilarious. Not just because Hunico was the "other Mistico", but also because Sin Cara as a faceless, silent pro may be fun.

Those guys are the top right now, not in any particular order. Though, I guess if you want just guys to be rookies, it could be a bit different. Those guys should really be on the main roster, haha, so I did kinda screw it up I guess. I should have picked NXT people instead of people who should be on the main roster.

I agree. WWE doesn't seem to care about NXT any more. It seems like the prospects they really care about go straight to TV and they stick most everyone else on NXT. Sometimes it seems like they keep some of the top prospects off NXT to protect them. I definitely hope Steamboat doesn't get the NXT treatment and that he goes straight to Raw or SmackDown, hopefully with introductory hype vignettes.

I don't know most of these guys because they all sound very generic and I don't follow FCW either. But depending on the pros involved, I'd watch NXT 6.

Yep, Also a while ago I raided the WWE's offices and found a list of the future prizes... which I will now post again <_< >_> The Current WWE and World Heavyweight Champion champion will come out and give you a hearty handshake. and the Next Season The World Heavyweight Champion will give you a thumbs up from the entrance way. and the next season the Us Champion will nod politely in your general direction and the Next Season the Tag Team Champions laugh at you in a pretaped video. and the next season winner will be immediatly fired. and the next season winner will be given two free tickets to Impact Wrestling and the next season the winner will receive an Impact Wrestling Contract. |
