I didn't understand the thread title meant Christian's move. I thought this was about a move like the pedigree but with the opponent facing upwards! I'm not sure whether I'm relieved or disappointed. How the hell would that work anyway? You'd have to hook their arms upside-down and then... slam then down on their back? There is technically a move like that. It's not a facebuster though: That actually sounds like the set-up to the Vertebreaker, a double-underhook back-to-back piledriver.

Always loved Unprettier.
And while you're at it, give him his old music back. Because, finally...
AT LAST, HE IS ON HIS OWWWWWWWN!

Impaler is the better name, but that is the name of an entirely different move; so Killswitch it is. Unprettier has always sounded stupid.

Let's not get into peeling his potatoes...

I guess they'd be facing upward with their arms hooked behind them, then drop down (Probably letting their arms go so they can free them and not break their wrist landing on it or something). If we're to believe that a reverse DDT is a finisher then I guess it's a little better than that anyway when you add in the little jump the pedigree has in it. Of course that'd mean they'd have a face full of package while preparing to taking the move, not very PG but would lead to a lot of threads on here about it =P

I first heard of it as 'Tomikaze' so that's my favorite. As far as Christian goes, I prefer Killswitch I suppose as Unprettier doesn't make sense any more and it barely made sense then. I assumed it was a reference to a then-current TLC song called "Unpretty," but I wasn't sure.
I think Impalor was fellow Brood member Gangrel's elevated DDT. Maybe Jim Ross got confused and called Christian's move the Impalor as well like he often got the Hardy Boyz moves mixed up. Whisper in the Wind!!! Twist of Fate! Poetry in Motion!!!!

I like "Killswitch." Unprettier is just a really odd sounding name.

I blame the word "inverted" for confusing me.

The move was labelled the impaler in I think WWF Attitude. Anyway, I usually think of Unprettier for the move because he called it that for so long... but the name hasn't fit since the E&C days, so I'm perfectly fine with Killswitch.

Unprettier sounds what some 14 year old wrestler wannabe'd name his finisher.

Unprettier sounds what some 14 year old wrestler wannabe'd name his finisher. Yeah, but it fit well with Christian's old heel gimmick (which basically did have the maturity of a 14 year old).

Christians was the Impaler and Gangrels was called an Implant DDT. I remember a few years back when Edge started using the Implant DDT the commentators called it an Impaler then.

Unprettier is such an ugly, forced word IMO. Original or not it just doesn't really roll off the tongue like "Killswitch" does. That's how I feel. It fit Christian's douchey heel character but it doesn't work and just sounds stupid otherwise. Plus, I love puns, and "Killswitch engage" gets me every time.
