THQ remind me of WWE. They can do however much or little they want with their games because there is simply no competition. They seem so lazy about it, it's just sad really.

Not looking forward to hearing Cole & King's unenthusiastic commentary on every show again.
I hope they put transparencies back in, but I doubt it since they didn't fix the skin thing.

Oh, God...we're gonna hear King yelp out "Right now, his head's screaming in agony!" everytime my guy heals his head in '12....

This is really inexcusable to me, sorry if I'm harping on it. Even if Booker came in too late to do VOs, Striker was on the team before that. Hell, Josh was on the RAW team for a good part of the year as well.

I'm willing to bet anybody any amount of money that the Sheamus/corpse line will be in WWE '12, as well as the redhead "joke."

I just mute it, like I have pretty much every year there has been commentary in the game.

Q: Is the Skin Color Hue wheel back for CAWs or do we still have preset colors only? A: Unfortunately the Skin Color Hue wheel is not back for Create-A-Superstar. We will address this feedback next year. We apologize for not being able to address this feedback for WWE '12 Homer simpson would you mind taking this one? What a load of horseshit! How the hell do you take two years to restore something so basic and THAT'S ALREADY IN THE CODE IN OTHER GAMES?!!?! I know this is going to sound petty, but I'm starting to think I'm not going to buy this year's edition, just on this. It just indicates how little weight they give to general complaints that are widespread amongst fans. I can appreciate the work they're putting in to remake the entire engine, but what's next? They "forget" to fix the transparency issue? They run out of budget to correct the tag teams breaking up? With Yukes' games, it's deaths by inches.

Yeah, honestly, in the face of this FAQ making it sound like the same damn game, I'm thinking of skipping it for the first time myself.
Also, if I hear that Cody Rhodes Christmas joke one more time I might hit somebody with a knee brace.

I seriously can't picture anybody stupid enough bother asking when the damn game comes out when you can easily find that answer on IGN.com.

Well, to be quite fair, it's not as if other studios are clamoring to obtain the rights to make a WWE game. But your analogy has a lot of merit to it.

This is really inexcusable to me, sorry if I'm harping on it. Even if Booker came in too late to do VOs, Striker was on the team before that. Hell, Josh was on the RAW team for a good part of the year as well. Even if Booker T was able to do VOs, they'd probably have him say whatever Striker was supposed to have, so it really doesn't matter. My last SvR game was, of course, 2010, and it always bugged me that they repeated certain lines. Take for instance when Khali uses his neck-hanging chokebomb finisher and they harp that he's using the Khali Visegrip. Or when Batista actually used that other finisher that wasn't a Batista Bomb... apparantly, he was using the Batista Bomb on his foe, according to the guys. The ECW team (Striker and Styles) was the best, but they were the rarest team to get to do commentary for matches.

I hope we can do it with custom ones. It'd be nice to be able to edit them how we wanted & use them.

I would of simply brought over the DOR engine, made a few tweaks, and call it a night. That's what I'd do too. I've been wondering; I haven't been keeping up with WWE games lately, but how does lifting heavier guys work in the newest games? Is it still dependent on your weight class? If that's the case, I would've made it so that there's an overall strength attribute-- like in previous games-- that determines the basic power of your superstar's moves and how much weight he/she can lift max. The striking, grappling, and submission attributes would be damage bonuses.

...people have exit themes Usually a cut of the entrance theme that gets right to the uptempo (DX, Drew McIntyre)
