They do that constantly. This sort of thing happens so much I kind of get the sense that THQ deliberately tries to alienate fans. and they do a good job at making fans pissed off. Its like THQ don't care about making quality WWE games for fans anymore. Instead its like they are only making WWE games to simply please the WWE management I like this theory, and it explains a lot, considering them being retained by WWE after their contract was up and the debacle with Jakks and

I wish SCEA would scoop up a licensing deal with WWE. Their dev team is seriously the best.
(e.g. MLB: The Show series, etc.)

Not in this day and age.

That's right more promises for next year!

Honestly, I'd wish that they'd just abandon the yearly game, and instead just make THE absolute best game they can, regardless of how long it takes, and work out every bug, glitch and issue before releasing it.
Then just add craploads of DLC and expansion content to it for the next year or two. Hey, it works for The Sims. *shrug*

Yukes should change their company slogan to "We'll Work On It Next Year".
I really think they spent all their energy building a new engine, and decided to just use it with last year's game and a few new wrestlers. I'm really seeing no reason yet why I should buy the game this year.

Never really followed the developing of a game until right now, and wow, it really is like they just say they'll "do it next year" most of the time.

I wish that just one year they'd focus on giving us the little things we ask for EVERY year.

I still don't know how to access my DLC. Waste of moneys. If you downloaded the full Axxess thingy, you'll be able to get all the individual items for free, but you do have to download them all indivudallly. Originally, I only got the main thing and thought it'd cover it, but you do need to get them all, I believe. Hope this helps! As for next year and it not having everything people are asking for, there are things that could definitely benefit from being included by this point, but I can see why the new core gameplay elements and new technology is a better selling point for the majority of the audience, rather than "now with 5 shining wizard variations!"

Can you buy Ministry Taker? Or was that just a exclusive pre-order thing?

Whats interesting here is Del Rio is in three different posistions and the finisher icon is still flashing ( press button to do finisher icon). So this either means more then two finishers, or finishers will be able to be hit from multiple positions.

It's not like people are asking for a lot. And most of the time they're asking for stuff that's either on the disc anyway but hidden away or was in a previous years version but taken out for no good reason. And in some cases they're asking for things that should be in the game anyway. For example there is absolutely no excuse for not having six diva tag matches. The hair thing is proven to be bullshit since you can have a diva tag match with two diva managers. But for some reason getting all six of them in the ring is impossible.

I wouldn't be surprised if the only difference was being able to interrupt moves...and that in turn absolutely destroyed online play. It's sad I was so excited for SDvR 11 this time last year, and now...meh. Never really followed the developing of a game until right now, and wow, it really is like they just say they'll "do it next year" most of the time. They've done that a lot in the past. A lot of "We'll look into it next year" BS.

I wouldn't be surprised if the only difference was being able to interrupt moves...and that in turn absolutely destroyed online play. It's sad I was so excited for SDvR 11 this time last year, and now...meh. That's because 2011 promised new features & actual change, which was delivered on. WWE '12 is pretty much bringing back things from previous games (move interruption - DOR, Button-mashing submissions & crawling to the ropes) that they dumped in favor of "better" methods. That's their M.O. They get rid of features only to introduce them in a later game, under a different name, as something "new." They deliberately break the game just so they can fix it for next year to get people to buy that one. Only time will tell if this new animation system is worth the coding it's made of.
