- The reason John Laurinaitis was with Vince McMahon at Money in the Bank for the run-in is because Vince has been told by his doctors not to take any bumps, according to the Wrestling Observer.
---
Hopefully it's nothing serious and maybe he's just getting old, but it feels strange thinking we might not see Vince McMahon get beaten up again, lol.

Saw this earlier. Wonder what could be wrong with him that the doctors don't want him taking bumps anymore.

It worked better having Johnny Ace getting knocked out. Guess Father Time is catching up with the Genetic Jackhammer.

Somebody please tell me that I'm not the only one to see that title and then read the end of that sentence as "Vince has been told by his doctors not to take any dumps.

The man's never been built to take bumps. I just hope he listens to them. If it's true.

Good. Vince has had enough. This. I have no desire to see Vince McMahon competing in the ring ever again.

Somebody should send his doctors to Ric Flair. Though, Flair hasn't taken a straight back-bump in years. He always braces himself with his arm/elbow. Maybe that's the secret to his longevity.

Let's not forget the two torn quads from Royal Rumble 2005, the broken tailbone from a motorcycle accident a few years ago, and being about 63 years old. Damn, just reading that shows me just how finished Vince truly is.

Now you've just given me the mental image of Laurinaitis in the restroom, with Vince right outside behind the door badgering him to do his business.

He's been doing that since his plane accident in the late 70's. He messed up his back pretty badly, and can't take too many normal back bumps.

I get the whole "being old" part but that hasn't stopped Flair, Funk etc. I was looking for specific reasons, and Dr B reminded me of the neck surgery, which I had forgotten about, so thanks.

I'm pretty sure if Vince tried walking as quick as Johnny Ace was that night he'd probably tear both his quads again, so it's probably for the best.
