It's weird, but I actually like the spinner belt now.

It's weird, but I actually like the spinner belt now. Depends on who holds it for me. As much as I'd literally kill to have the Attitude belt back, the Spinner looks great on; Cena Edge Miz Jeff Hardy

...but then saying that Edge and Hardy have left. Only people I could see working the spinner now would be (if they ever get it) JoMo, Truth or Zack Ryder (obligatory Ryder mention).

Sheamus and Batista(specifically Douchetista) looked great with the Spinner belt. How on Earth could I forget Deacon Douche? It may as well have been made for him. Sheamus, not so, it seemed negatively juxtaposed against his psychotic ginger personality.

Personally I'm hoping the Undisputed belt makes number 1. It looked good on just about everyone that's ever worn it (except 'Taker, but only because he kept wearing the damned thing like a dog collar).

I cannot support the current US Title being ranked above the WCW US Title, but this topic has been a fantastic read so far!

When I saw that neither the Divas belt nor the Spinner belt was in last place, I quit paying attention.

It's time for the Elite 8!We are kicking it into overdrive as we continue the countdown! #8 - The WWF European Championship The European tours got to their heads! In at Number eight is the European Championship. This belt was the first secondary title introduced to the WWF in over a decade. So, there was a lot of hype for it taking place on a European House tour. Fittingly, "The British Bulldog" Davy "Boy" Smith walked away with the strap when it was all said and done. The Bulldog lost the title to Shawn Michaels on a subsequent European tour. The belt lost all importance pretty quickly after that; HBK dropped the title to Triple H, in a fingerpoke of doom situation. Thus sealing the title's fate. The European Championship also held the unique distinction of being defended more in the United States & Canada, than it was in Europe. D-Lo Brown had a memorable series of runs with the title, and had his hometown announced as random European cities. In the end, the European Championship was merged with the Intercontinental Championship, and hasn't been heard of since. Despite the belt's status as a third-tier title, it actually was a real classy belt. The WWF went out on a limb when they introduced the title, and it was produced in a classic-meets-new school style. Belts with globes that focus on one region or continent always look better than those with a globe showing the entire world. The flags on the front plate gave the title a formal & official appearance. And the primary use of red was a new thing for a WWF title. The European Belt might not have meant much. But, it sure looked good. Although the European championship looked good & didn't mean much...
The Next Belt on our list meant everything. And, it looked really good.#7 - The Undisputed ChampionshipHeavy Hitter. In terms of wrestling, there are very few times where there is an Undisputed Champion. But with no competition left in the wrestling world, the WWE had the power & right to determine an Undisputed Champion of Pro-Wrestling... And they did. This title debuted after Triple H defeated Chris Jericho for the claim to be Undisputed Champion in 2002. The belt had a brief run as the Undisputed Championship before Raw GM Eric Bischoff disputed it & re-introduced #9 to represent his brand. The Undisputed Championship was then relegated to being Smackdown's official champion for the remainder of it's existence. Under the Undisputed banner, the belt had the unique distinction of only being held by true legends of the business: Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker, & The Rock. A young Brock Lesnar is often associated with this title, because of the impact he made... And he looked like a menace with this thing around his waist. The belt had an imposing strap & faceplate. It's artwork perfectly reflected the transition that Wrestling was going through at that point. And, it had the look of a 21st Century Undisputed Champion. #6 - The classic WWF Tag Team Titles WhattaRush! Tag Team wrestling used to actually mean something. And this belt meant something too. And, it looked awesome. The classic WWF Tag belts had a long run; from the '80s Heyday, through the New Generation, and up until the end of the Attitude era. When you think of this belt, some pretty big names come to mind... The Legion of Doom, the Hart Foundation, Demolition, The New Age Outlaws, the Rock & Sock Connection, 2 Dudes with Attitude, Owen Hart & Yokozuna, Andre & Haku, the Nasty Boyz, the Hardy Boyz, and of course Edge & Christian taking a few poses with it for the crowd's satisfaction. The Tag Belts are the first thing that pops into an old school fans mind when they think about the pinnacle of Tag Team Wrestling. #5 - The Attitude Era WWF World ChampionshipThe Attitude WWF World Championship is an impressive piece. It's big, which was a nice change for the World Champion in the WWF. The design & plates look very prestigious. The WWF went on limb in updating it's World Championship so they went really big in every aspect of belt design, and they totally delivered on this one. The first version of the belt actually had the old school WWF logo, and it was only held by Stone cold Steve Austin, and for a cup of coffee, Kane. The Original "Attitude" Strap actually had the classic WWF block letteringAfter it was updated with the Attitude font, the belt was held by the likes of the Rock, Mankind, & Triple H. The Attitude belt had a short shelf life in comparison to most other WWF/WWE World championships. But many fans still fondly recall it as their favorite WWE belt. The attitude Belt had the look of a champion. UP NEXT: THE FINAL FOUR!We've run through 28 WWF/WWE Championships... And there's still the top four to go! These are the best of the best! Stay Tuned!

I really wish they'd sell a replica of this version of the belt. I dunno why I want it, I just do. EDIT: Also, IIRC, the title belt they gave Arnold Schwarzenegger when he appeared on Smackdown that one time was this one.

Here is my biggest gripe with the list. (It provokes healthy and competitive discussion, its a very good thread)
You say the Divas belt is representative of the Divas as a division, which to me is an incredibly fresh perspective, and one I never considered.
So why do you have no qualms about ranking the Spinner at number 11? The WWE Championship is the number one title in the company, representative of the kayfabe top competitor in the company. It is considered above the WHC by the WWE. It is the pinnacle of the business.
Yet it is a custom belt designed to accompany a gimmick and character that was dissolved entirely in 2007. That belt is the walking definition of OUTDATED.
I personally liked the spinning US title. It suited Cena perfectly during his midcard rise. I dont see what is gaudy about it, especially in comparison to the current WWE title.
Either the WHC or the Rick Rude/Warrior style Intercontinental Championship is my personal favourite.

The Tag Belts are the first thing that pops into an old school fans mind when they think about the pinnacle of Tag Team Wrestling. This belt also had the distinction of being the new "Real World Championship" that Ric Flair was carrying around in 1991 after he was forced to give the WCW Belt back. If you go back and watch some of the clips, mainly Flair's series of matches at MSG with Hulk Hogan, the censoring of the title belt is sometimes a little slow and you catch a glimpse of it. He's holding up one of the tag titles. I think another obscure fact is Mr Perfect was awarded one of the Tag Belts when he won the IC title in the tournament in 1990. Don't know how that happened? Did someone forget to bring the IC title to the arena?

UP NOW - We take a break from the Main list & review a few belts not ranked in the top 32. Most of them aren't very memorable -or- haven't seen any real TV time.PLEASE NOTE THESE ARE NOT THE TOP 4![/b] Random Mention #1 - The Old, Old, Old School Tag BeltsThe early 80s Tag Team Titles looked the same as the original Intercontinental Championship (#28), and would go there on the list. Nothing Flashy. Mostly remembered as Rocky Johnson & Tony Atlas' belts. Random Mention #2 - Women's Belts The Women's belts always seemed to be lacking, until recently. Two designs were used in the 1980s for the Womens Championship. One was actually owned by Moolah. The red belt is the often forgotten Women's Tag Team Title. This thing did not get much TV time, and it's kind of ugly. If you really need these belts to be ranked, give 'em numbers 33, 34, & 35, respectively. Random Mention #3 - Zack Ryder's Internet Championship
This belt could also be considered a variant of the current IC belt and would probably go there on this list. It's only been on TV for a couple of seconds. The WWE hasn't been clear on whether the belt really counts or not. And we aren't either. But it is great to see Zack with it on Youtube every week. Random Mention #4 - The Andre '87What if Andre the Giant decided he wasn't going to lose at Wrestlemania III? Well, we would have seen the debut of this belt. The Andre '87 was constructed to fit the big man's huge frame. The title was never used in the WWF, but it did appear on screen in the WWF produced "No Holds Barred." COMING UP NEXT - THE TOP 4 WWE BELTS OF ALL TIME!

I cannot support the current US Title being ranked above the WCW US Title, but this topic has been a fantastic read so far! Why? The WWE U.S. Belt is probably one of the best current designs for a pro-wrestling belt.

The WWE U.S. Belt is probably one of the best current designs for a pro-wrestling belt. Because I prefer the classic. I will always associate it with great title holders in WCW like Steve Austin, DDP, Bret Hart, Bill Goldberg, Rick Rude, Sting, and many others...
