He was f***ing amazing as a heel. I find that hard to believe. Douchebag heel Batista was glorious. His promos were hilarious.

He was f***ing amazing as a heel. I find that hard to believe. Just imagine him acting like someone from Jersey Shore with a hint of face Batista thrown in.

He was f***ing amazing as a heel. I find that hard to believe. Since you weren't watching around that time period, you have no idea. Give it a look and judge for yourself. Douchetista left us too soon. Luckily they're making it up to us with Crazy Troof, who I've always considered his heel turn to be in Douchetista levels.

I think the reason that Bats worked so well as a heel was because he was totally believable as a self-absorbed dickwad, and he acted as over-the-top as possible while still being treated as credible. He was never a joke, but made a total goof of himself and was always in on it.

He was great as Douchetista; and I agree at the assessment for like two, three years before that he was dull as dishwater.
I guess the heel turn worked as well as it did, because even as a face, his character was kind of a dick.

oh my god, heel Batista was absolutely amazing. Everything about it was perfect, perfect, perfect. It was the role he was born to play.

I knew he'd mak a great heel the time he was supposed to be running in to save his best friend Rey and he stops at the top of the ramp and does his full pyro and machine guns while his buddy is getting the snot beat out of him.

I refuse to believe that happened, that is so hilarious! I wanna see this. I bet none of the announcers thought anything of it.

I've noticed there haven't been a lot of photoshop threads on here since the guy left.

Talking to Cena about the security guards surrounding him:
"Oh, they're not here to protect me from you....
They're here to protect you from ME!"
Man, that was so freakin' awesome! Heel Batista was the man!
"This place will go bankrupt without me!!!"

If Batista ever comes back he must be a heel otherwise I wouldn't want him back.

oh my god, heel Batista was absolutely amazing. Everything about it was perfect, perfect, perfect. It was the role he was born to play. Honestly, he was fine as the local "badass face" on Smackdown when he could still wrestle worth a lick. But after he became the big guy who got injured a lot and couldn't play a believable face in his matches, he needed a change. Too bad it came years too late.

Batista was so boring and unremarkable as a face that during the times he wasn't on screen, I literally forgot he existed.
That's what makes Douchetista so amazing to me. After all those years, who knew the guy had it in him to actually be entertaining?

When Batista was on, he was better then I thought he could be. But I don't really miss him.
