Bob Backlund as WWF Champion in 1982.
Why? I have no clue. It was the Observer award winner, though.

Im going to go with promotional tactics instead of storylines and my favorite, which seems to happen an awful lot is all the indy promoters who promote a guy on their card whom they never booked and then the day of the show they claim he backed out. Or wrestlers who use names/gimmicks that are ridiculously similar/blatant rip offs of popular or legendary wrestlers. Indy's promoting big names is def a big one for me,I hate when one will have a lineup of upcoming big names, and then some of them will not show to me,unless they know 100% that someone is coming then they need to lay off on promoting such wrestler at their shows.
