I thought this thread would be about all of the soundbites in the one version of the song. "New, new, new, new, new World order." "We are in control!" "Tooo SWEEEET!" The biggest-biggest-biggest icon in wrestling. OOOHH-OOOHH-OOOHH YEEAHH!

It always used to make me laugh in late-1999/early-2000 on WCW Saturday Night, when the theme would start and you'd get this big cheer.
Then the people would see Patrick and Gerald, and just sit back down. ;D

The nWo theme is f'n awesome! Probably one of the most well known entrance themes ever. If it played Monday on Raw it'd get a huge pop as everyone would know who would supposed to be coming out. Give it back to Nash, let him start his own stable with him as the mouthpiece.

"fuh-fuh-fuh-FUH LIFE" I liked that nWo theme. The worst one IMO (if you can call it that) was nWo Japan. Honestly I didn't see a bad one in the bunch.

nWo theme is classic.
The Wolfpac theme just flat out stunk, though.

Umm, no. I must be the only one who likes it. You liked an alarm going over and over? The RTC theme was meant to be annoying, and did that job perfectly I loved the RTC, complete with their theme. I just hated that they only ever appeared during midcarders' angles. Their shit was tailor-made for Austin; booked right, Steven Richards could have been a huge main event heel. (...and that is the ONLY time that could ever be said.) Seriously, an Austin/RTC angle could have been HUGE. I would reckon this is as big a failed opportunity as the invasion.

Nope it's one of the best themes ever, HHH's my time was annoying however I dunno, I always thought that theme was pretty cool and really fit his character at the time. The lyrics were godawful though. The Game is infinitely cooler

nWo theme is classic. The Wolfpac theme just flat out stunk, though. "Don't turn your back on the WolfPac. You might end up in a bodybag." And here are Sting, Kevin Nash and Lex Luger walking out - 3 of the most non-threatening looking guys on Earth. I only believed Konnan as a guy who could do that.

The nWo theme? No.
The horrible ripoff that is the Immortal theme? Absolutely.

No, not annoying at all. In fact, I really like the nWo themes. Mostly because they're just pieces of Hendrix riffs shuffled around.
For instance:
^At about :42 in^
And for the nWo B-team theme, "Tear It Up":
^At about 2:00 in^
So my answer is no, I love the nWo themes. Hell, I like the cheesy B-team music moreso. All the cheesy production library WCW themes are great.

In fact, I like most of the nWo themes (the only one I really don't like is probably the Wolfpac theme). That being said, does anyone else notice that Hogan's TNA theme is basically a straight rip of the nWo 2000 (Black & Silver) theme?

I loved it.
And I forgot how much until all the NWO Trevelyan endings at the end of Botchamania.
Man, I hope those endings come back.
Also, are we allowed to post the YouTube vids of the NWO themes? My understanding is that they were stock themes in the public domain and, therefore, not owned by WWE. Or at least the classic NWO theme is. Or am I misremembering the tale that it's from a porno?
