Could this possibly mean Spike is pulling away from it's 'Idiots Entertained By Stupid Shit' demographic?

@ Smokey1980 & @ clashofchampains
agree with both of you, and saddened by what cable, movies, and entertainment in general has become. time has passed me by and i'm still in my twenties. i know others feel this way too, though. and it helps.
I also forgot to mention John Wayne movies. TBS was home to him.
viva Ted Turner's old-school channel. great memories, wish I were still 10 or so years old, watching and learning life lessons from Andy, getting ready to see The Nature Boy get taken down by Sting, and staying up late to watch a great western like The Wild Bunch after a Braves game that went 10 innings on a hot July night in the early 90s.

As for Lifetime, they show Unsolved Mysteries, and that's awesome. I just wish it were the original episodes, not the Spike edits. Give us the Robert Stack episodes back. ^This.

Teach men to be better men? The hell? LOL my thoughts exactly. Whoever runs this network is insane. Spike TV probably has the worst programming of any cable station. Even the somewhat cool shows, like the one where they show boxing/mma ko's, they ruin with awful special effects and the worst voice over work imaginable. Rebranding = GOOD PLAN.

Another thing that could potentially affect TNA is that Spike TV is said to be considering looking into bidding for the new Thursday Night package the NFL plans to start for the 1st half of the season as early as the 2012 season, according to Sports Business Journal. Though Comcast/Versus and Turner/TNT/TBS/TruTV are said to be the main front runners.
