Yeah. Even though I didn't want Sawyer back in the game, when Spartan told me what he was doing, I understood. You guys should have realized there were 3 of you, and only two of you could go back. Spartan pulled the smartest move possible.

OK, it's time for me to tell my side of the story:

The originally intended alliance in Wasake was supposed to be me, Jonathan Michaels, and unoriginalalex, with my intentions being to bring Michaels to the final. alex, however, wanted pegasus and Veronica added as well, which I had wanted to avoid because I knew that we'd run into a major conflict within the tribe. To counter this, while I caved in nd added them, I also included The Big Bad Brad. However, when we lost the first Immunity Challenge, I wanted to vote out J since he wasn't part of the GDR/Jono/alex alliance, but Veronica and PW wanted Michaels out since he wasn't as active. This convinced me that I needed to get PW and Veronica out as soon as possible. Unfortunately, this was going to be much harder than expected. esp. after Michaels got blindsided out.

That was what prompted Notorious and Spartan to approach me about getting PW and Veronica out. When the tribes merged and PW didn't win Immunity, I DID get nervous, because I figured that PW, Veronica, and SNS were allied, and that there'd be someone else added in. I needed to somehow get them convinced to send their votes elsewhere so that the blindside of PW could be completed. Thus I sent them going for Bergman instead, but I seem to recall that they didn't exactly take the bait. So it got much too close.

And then came my lack of thinking when I bought the delayed Immunity. Add to that PW and others (I think others) spreading the rumor around that I had a hidden Idol (no chance of that, as I knew I had no chance at finding it because I sucked at the big scavenger hunt on April Fool's Day last year, so I decided to get lazy), and I was toast.

Now, while I can SORTA understand Spartan's rationale for dumping Michaels and I in favor of his own survival, I had made it clear that my primary goal was making sure that Veronica didn't make it back. Which is why I was disappointed when it didn't work out that way.

Honestly, however, I think I was likely to be voted out no matter WHAT I bought in the auction.
