Can we keep the Bad Intentions reign going, please?
And I know I should be more excited for that main event, but...eh.

Some how, I can see Tanahashi retaining.
Also not impressed we'll get (what it looks like) Goto/Sugiura match for the 4th Dome show in a row.

Tanahashi should win just to set a new record.

At least this time I can see Goto winning the thing (yeah, I know he was on the winning team in the first tag-match, but since then he's like Sugiura's New Japan jobber and never got the win out of him. I also suspect this will start a big push for him for his inevitable title win. Which I speculate will happen at the Wrestling Dontaku show next year).

Hey, cool. Masakatsu Funaki finally returns to the company that trained him.

It's obvious that Tanahashi's winning and breaking Nagata's record. I'm more interested in the NJPW vs NOAH tag.

Ugh, Nakamura AGAIN? I HATE Nakamura. You sir are off my Christmas postcards list! Anyway, in same article, Da Meltz confused Masakatsu Funaki with good ol' Funaki (Sho Funaki, or just FUNAKI as he's known now) when talking about Kojima's anniversary show, so, yeah, once again, take what the guy says with a bucket loaded with salt.

^ LOLOL Granted, it makes sense for Nakamura and Tanahashi to go at it because of their lengthy feud. A Makabe defense has to be coming up considering he's one of the only guys left to face Tanahashi.

that said, wouldn't that mean Tanahashi defended the title 3 times against Nakamura in this title reign? Thats kinda ridiculous to me
Also, I suggest this thread becomes the general Tokyo Dome show thread

Tanahashi should hold on to the title for a while longer before dropping it to Goto.
I was really hoping for a Mutoh/Naito match at this Dome show, but Naito's elbow injury has pretty well ruined that possibility.
I'm still looking forward to the show though.

You're in luck - Naito/Mutoh is on. As is Tanaka/Yujiro vs. MVP/Shelton Benjamin.

Shelton finally going to make his long awaited New Japan debut. Hopefully it will turn into a semi regular gig.

Sounds like Dave is losing his Puroresu awareness. Going 80% MMA coverage isn't helping him.
