Nothing official as of yet. I assume they're moving it to July, likely to give them time to find the appropriate venue because of The Arena shutting down.

Up now, Dasher Hatfield introduces us to his step brother-in-law (?) Mr. Touchdown! He's married to Dasher's field hockey playing step sister

I say move Rex to around September since it basically an updated (and better booked) International Invaders

I'm surprised we didn't get a Vin sighting, quite honestly. If only to start trouble, at least.

In other Chikara news, Smart Mark Video has a few of the 2011 shows up on MP4. Hopefully all of the 2012 shows will go up ASAP after they happen on MP4.

More specifically, they have the entire King of Trios, Chikarasaurus Rex, Cibernetico, and High Noon. There's also the "Wrestling is Fun!" show. All of them are $10 each.
I'll probably buy High Noon or Cibernetico.

Eddie Kingston tweeted: Followed by Vin tweeting: Not surprised. Vin probably has to be at the homeless shelter early tomorrow morning to get the best of the soup from last night.

It'd be cool if CHIKARA could come up to the Washington Armory in Albany to have a show, especially if it's KOT. Probably won't happen, since they haven't ventured further than Brooklyn.

I'm shocked they haven't done a show in the southern tier since it's only another hour away. The problem I think is that it's a real hassle to deal with the nys athletic commission.

That's probably right, but I don't understand how they can run in NYC, since it's still part of the state. Unless they really are under the jurisdiction of an NYC Athletic Commission, and they're a lot less strict than the state. I mean, seriously, ROH and CHIKARA can't run shows upstate, but we get something like In Your Face Wrestling?

I have to endure the F***ING PIT called the Arizona wrestling "scene".

Seriously though, it is weird and I wouldn't be surprised if the city has it's own board and stuff.

I'm surprised we didn't get a Vin sighting, quite honestly. If only to start trouble, at least. Umm...we did. CHIKARA just didn't report on it, most likely because Vin "isn't part of the roster". Kind of like Kevin Steen in ROH last year. During Gavin's announcing of the *drums ring mat* MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING (being able to drum the mat was awesomeness), Vin completely came out of nowhere and blindsided Gavin, causing chaos...and a pissed off Kingston to run in and try and get Vin, to no avail. Vin completely forearmed a crew member and bailed out, as King was completely surrounded by crew, security, and such. King gets in the ring and demands Wink to do the same. King wants Vin reinstated so they can have a match, but Wink does nothing...to the point where King grabs him by the tie and threatens him. But King leaves instead. It was a pretty awesome segment, to be honest. The rest of the show was okay. Green Ant/Quack was damn good for 10 minutes, Heiracon/Ophidian was decent, and the main event was good. Crowd sucked though for the most part. Stupid assholes kept chanting for UMB during some matches, even though he wasn't there AT ALL. Whatever. Oh yeah, Mr. Touchdown is the greatest thing since the invention of microwaves. 'SUP NERDS?! Me, my brother, and our friends (as a going away present to one of our own who's moving down to Florida) actually got in the ring to get a picture with him and Dasher. Pretty cool. Also got the chance to pick up the Best of Del Rey collection just released while my brother got the UMB set and the WiF debut show.
