In my perspective, this storyline has been the best that the WWE has offered in the past few months.
No other storyline has any real substance. This is the only drama-fueled storyline that makes any sense and hasn't been over done with bad acting among other qualities that seem to tail behind the women's division.
Plus, the women's feud is really well done. Sure, the matches are somewhat bleh, as that usually comes with a WWE Women's match, but the feud itself has that way of drawing you in. Hopefully they don't throw James in with the clan of goon-like women that makes almost no sense (because Victoria freaking out that everyone loves Trish because she's hot and then teaming up with 2 women who are notorious for being around for that reason alone just doesn't make sense). I just hope they don't start pulling random people into it. The feud itself doesn't need to go beyond Trish vs. Mickie.

I agree that this is my favorite storyline currently happening.
I also agree that I hope WWE doesn't water Mickie's character down like they did to Victoria.

Mickie's mic skills are too good for her to be watered down, no matter the plans. In the end, talent always shines through. I won't be surprised if the crowd starts completely and utterly cheering for her in her heel role. When was the LAST time a Trish ass beating got that kind of heat like last Monday? Reminded me of the good ol' Angle heel turn on Eddie in 2004. Fans just couldn't wait to chant something at him.

At WM, I won't be suprised if she gets a good "Let's Go Mickie" chant that go over the arena. Never has happened to face Trish but it might this time. Mickie has EASILY outperformed Trish in this feud and the fans might see through the "heel/face" colors.

I see this is an older post but I have to comment.I think the angle is fairly stupid.Mainly that whole Mickie setting up Trish's boyfriend.WWE has been doing this stupid stuff too much lately like Stepahnie Mcmahon spiking Sean Michaels' water IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA AND EVERYONE WATCHING!!! Mickie screams rape,Trish's boyfriend get taken away by security then Micki's seen sitting there laughing IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA & EVERYONE WATCHING!!That takes all the realism & believability out of it.I miss te days when Wrestling was made to look like it wa sreal & this could really happen!

Can you believe Cleveland didn't know that Loretta slept with Quagmire on Family Guy that one time? I mean.. it was right in front of the camera. Its TV. Take it at face value and don't try to read so deeply into it.

Big difference!

When Trish is on-camera, it was her job to act as though she didn't know what Mickie (also a character) did to Jack (the third character). People seem to treat wrestling as if it is in this little bubble because there are monitors around. There are also monitors on sitcom sets for the actors to watch what is getting filmed at the time. That doesn't mean they can go onto the camera, in character, and act as though they saw what happened on camera. THAT damages the realism of the show more than them not knowing. And guess what? When they DO see someone's dastardly plan on the monitor... THAT'S part of the show and the character's script TO!

HHH and Stephanie being seen on camera together acting like they didn't know each other a few months ago was a insult to the average man's intellgence. It's no big deal. Mickie is the MVP of Raw. The embarassment of Jack was a crowd favorite and memorable for all who saw it.

Try adding something of value to the conversation instead of criticizing what someone else didn't like. I'll add something of value. If you're looking for realism and believability in pro wrestling, you're sadly mistaken. Some examples......... HHH striking someone with a sledgehammer in the skull repeatedly and NOT killing them. DDT's, Piledrivers, Powerbombs not paralyzing an opponent Kane falling into a flaming dumpster and needing only a band aid. See....pro wrestling both in ring, and storyline wise arent a place for reality

Take it at face value and don't try to read so deeply into it. You missed the whole pointof what I said at the end of my post!Just cause Wrestling now admits it's entertainmnet & not real doesn't mean they have to show stuff that looks blatantly fake & contrived.I take my wrestling seriously but I don't take cartoons & "Regular" t.v. shows seriously. I've been watching wrestling since the 70's in an era where it wasn't cool to watch & was contstantly debated as"Is this real or fake?"and back then there were never any silly childish angles played out like that,it was made to look real like this could happen in real life. Wouldn't it have been more dramtaic if they only showed Mickie James barging in on Trish's interview clainming to have been attacked & then make it a mystery only to reveal it was all part of Mickie's scheme?Remember how on Smackdown a few months back Melina of MNM was claiming Batista was sexually harrassing her & it was all a big set up?They didn't show some stupid backsatge skit where Melina IN FRONT OF THE CAMERAS bumps into Batista cries "Rape!!" have the cops take Batista away,& is scene laughing in the back ground and THEN goes into the ring on the mic accusing Batista of harrassing her & talks lawsuit when we all saw what she did that's absurd! The Melina/Batista thing was handled beautifully & believeable but the Trish/Mickie/Boyfreind thing was hokey & has made me seriously consider to stop watching WWE(all though I've come close to doing this durring the immature kiddie days of the 80's as well!)

Man you are clueless & don't undestand pro wrestling & how vastly different it is than that of a normal t.v. show! The stuff we're referring to would never happen on a real life sports show & wrestling traditionally has & should be portrayed in a realistic believeable way.Like the reason the Stephane Mcmahon/Sean Michaels thing didn't look real is you think the cameraman there in the room with them filming would warn Sean Michaels she put someting in his drink or the WWE announce team watching over the monitor would send someone backstage to tell Sean what happened. That's what would happen in real life! Again wouldn't it have had more impact if They just showed Sean Michaels appearing intoxicated in the ring & have everyone wondering what the hell's wrong with him & a few weeks later after speculating if he's a druggie or not, there'll be an eye witness report Steph was seen coming out of Sean's dressing room before his match with her brother Shane!Taht would make it more believeable. Remember this website is called Wrestlecrap & it's baout harping on all the lameness that sometimes goes on. you're probably going to use more examples from movies & cartoons & how they could have been done in a more believeable fasion and if you do YOU'RE AN IDIOT!!

Back to the subject at hand... I love the story line. I hope that they big guys running the show saw the crowd reaction, and will reward them with a long match, instead of what I fear will be a 5 minute match. Plus, with Mickie kissing Trish while bleeding all over her was just pure awesome! I think that was the first time I actually clapped at something I saw on TV. It really made Mickie seem nuts.
