Look at him now and tell me he was better off sticking with TNA.

2011's Eddie/Benoit moment. Proof that with hard work, independent wrestlers can make it to the top of the world.

Look at him now and tell me he was better off sticking with TNA. ...and we're so sure Bryan's run won't fizzle out? People act like Joe didn't rule the place for like 4 years straight. I just don't think Joe has anything to regret. Leaving for WWE post-2009? Sure, that would've been nice. But considering who Joe is today, I'm not that appalled that WWE ain't interested in him/TNA ain't pushing him.

For sure I was banking on 'Mania for the big Bryan & Punk holding their respective titles moment.

Yeah, I honestly think that Punk and Bryan are the exceptions, not the rule. Punk is a million times better on the mic than your average independent worker and Bryan is one of, if not, the best wrestlers (just from a pure in-ring perspective) in North America today.

Wish the nameplate was changed, but that's nitpicking. This pic is beautiful.

It's worse than that. He's in TNA's Midcard Hell.

Just want to remind you that this was the Heavyweight title picture in June, only six months ago: So, yeah, anything's possible, even if it doesn't look it right then. Side note: I'm officially calling for an end to the term "status quo" every time something happens that someone doesn't like.

Side note: I'm officially calling for an end to the term "status quo" every time something happens that someone doesn't like. Usually I don't do this kind of for discussions(Ending tersm), but I'll make an exception now and second that notion on ending that term.

Yeah, and now he's in midcard hell. And fat. He's a fat, out of shape Samoan, hunting me down a sword, a smachete, like I'm a big piece of hamburger or something, like I'm a big Twinkie! I mean, look at me, I'm a genetic freak, and what does he see when he sees me? A PIECE OF BACON!
